Official 2015 NFL Draft Thread

Will the Bucs really be $30+ mil under the cap next year? Need to target Orlando Franklin, James Carpenter, Clint Boling, and/or Joe Barksdale if they decide to go Mariota.

Bucs always go hog-wild in free agency, and it never works.

James Carpenter?  You sure about that?

Call me crazy but I think Tevin Coleman might be a better NFL RB than Melvin Gordon. He has that extra explosiveness that I think could make him an elite RB provided he's in the right situation.

Historically i don't remember if ever Houston has traded up.

Houston is winning anywhere from 7-9 games.

Last years 2 win season was a fluke, they weren't that bad.

Gonna basically fall into that 6-12 range for a pick.

Most likely gonna play ourselves out of MM8 / Jameis range.

Hundley doesn't do it for me, every time I turn on the TV he's hurt and he's taken a beating behind that O-line.

Prob gonna be:

Mannion
Cook
Petty

Basing that off what I saw with BOB at Penn State.

Big strong in the pocket QB with a big Arm.

Shane Carden... Local kid with accuracy, a little zip on the ball, smart, instinctive, and is mobile in the pocket....

You're right. We'd also have to find the right OC to properly use/develop him or we'll be setting ourselves up for failure. He kinda scares me as a prospect in that sense. But Jameis scares me on AND off the field.

I still want one of them to be the Bucs quarterback next year though.

WR, Kumerow from Wisconsin-Whitewater is a DIII guy that's intriguing. Stood out as a man among boys in yesterday's Championship game. 6'5" with good hands and body control. I think they said he was a transfer from Illinois and his Dad was an NFL player, so he has the lineage.

I love watching these early bowl games trying to spot gems. I praised T.Y. Hilton well before most after seeing him tear it up in his bowl game. Lavon Brazill played in that game too, but his pro career has disappointed so far.

If u praised TY in his bowl game you didn't get in on him early. He had a Huge following since his freshman year. He had NFL ability with the football in his hands as a true freshman.

"Well before most."  Didn't say the first. Not difficult to understand that.  When he was drafted, there weren't too many people in here who knew a thing about him.

Thoughts on how Bryce petty, garrett Grayson or Cody fajardo will do in the league?

He's not as accurate as I thought. Athletic, but needs a lot of open space in order to stay accurate.

Mannnnn what.
He not making anyone's roster as a RB nor WR.

He's as good as an 3 rd string bum on every nfl franchise.
He doesn't have size so he won't get looks. But he can definitely make a PS/team as A QB
