If they really turned down 3 1sts and a 2 that's ridiculous

New England fans stay gassing up their backup QBs.
He'd get them a 4th.
Not just me manNew England fans stay gassing up their backup QBs.For everything Tennessee was offered,I'm really wondering how much someone like Jimmy G would fetch today...
He'd get them a 4th.
Four more quarterbacks are likely to hear their names called this evening, when the NFL draft resumes and the second and third rounds take place: Bryce Petty of Baylor, Brett Hundley of UCLA, Sean Mannion of Oregon State and Garrett Grayson of Colorado State.
The Saints and Petty are a pairing to keep an eye on. There’s been a lot of talk that New Orleans would like to make Petty the heir apparent to Drew Brees. The Saints have a second-round pick and two third-round picks (their own and Miami’s) tonight, and it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Petty land in New Orleans.
Once Petty, Hundley, Mannion and Grayson are off the board, it’s anyone’s guess whether any other quarterbacks will be drafted. Brandon Bridge of South Alabama, Connor Halliday of Washington State, Cody Fajardo of Nevada and Shane Carden of East Carolina could all be late-round picks.
Ain't Bryce Petty 30 years old?
In the Titans case, they had no choice but to ask for that much, especially with all the holes they have along with knowing how bad the Eagles wanted him.
But that's the thing, they still have those holes.. And mariota' strengths ain't exactly what ken is looking for or had in a QB before
I get trying to get as much as you can in any negotiation, but at some point you gotta realize you setting the bar way to high
And using that Washington/rg3 deal as a basis is ludacris, because we all know how terrible Snyder is with negotiating anything
23... (24 in 31 days).
How do you really know what Ken is looking for? Did he come out and specifically say what type of QB he wanted? How do you know the Titans won't play to his strengths for the time being?
This is a franchise that doesn't have a face, in a division with Andrew Luck and JJ Watt, it was a move they had to make. You ask a football fan to name you 5 players on the Titans roster without using Google they're gonna be flustered
In my opinion, the Eagles set the bar for Mariota that high by making it well known how bad they wanted him. Had they played it cool and tried to keep it tight lipped they probably could've got him.
does Tennessee have ANY o line or weapons on offense
Per Mike Florio I heard that the eagles trade involved Sam Bradford , 1st round '15 and '16.
Sam going to be like that kid who tries to impress his deadbeat dad .
Per Mike Florio .
Weak conference? You probably mean division right .
I feel for him though,he won't have much to work with in Tennessee unlike Jameis.

So if the Eagles played it cool the Titans would have been more willing to accept their offer?
And I'm just basing my opinion on the QBs ken has had during his time with the steelers, cards and Titans and what he has done with them and those offenses
And the Eagles didn't make a play for mariota until the day before and the day off the draft.. Other than that, it was speculation from everyone outside the organization
