Official 2015 NFL Draft Thread

Trust me, Jameis ain't pressed for P. He's charismatic, funny and likable. On the other token, Roethlisberger is that insecure/low self-esteem type of guy who'd try to backdoor his best buddy and sleep with his girl. He has a lame demeanor. Without football, he'd be as entertaining as a vegetable.

I can agree with this.

Any way that Mariota slides in the draft past #10?

Yes. The Super Bowl is still over 3 weeks away let alone the draft next spring. We've seen this stuff happen before. For reasons that are legitimate or not-so, we've seen slides happen the more nitpicking some of these dummy scouts/GM do. Perfect example is Teddy. Around this time last year he was still a clear cut top 5 guy. Then all of a sudden...

If Mariota puts up a dud in the NCG, bad combine, bad pro day, super imposed picture of skinny elbows -- So many variables yet that could have him slide. I don't think anything is guaranteed at this point.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering...you bring up a lot of good points. Teddy Bridgewater is a good example. Gonna be interesting when Mariota measures out at 6'2" 205 :lol

*With the Skins hiring Scot McCloughan, and with his penchant for building teams through the draft, I have a sneaky suspicion we might see Todd Gurley on this roster, only to be stashed for '16. I really don't think that the Skins will stay at #5. Probably going to trade back a few times and stockpile picks.

He'll slide to the Patriots. 8o Send Jimmy to the Texans for their first and use both firsts for MM8.

I can't help but think we're gonna **** this up somehow.

Supposedly the Glazers have told Lovie he HAS to take Mariota or Jameis but man....I just don't trust that guy to make the right decision.

Scares the **** out of me that the draft could be in his hands.

Have to wonder if Tenn is going to stick with Mettenberger or not.

And if Cutty is going to get traded to TB.

I don't watch too much college ball. What's up with Shane Ray and Dante Fowler? A few mock drafts have Atlanta taking either of them at #8. One mock said Randy Gregory but most say he won't fall that far .

Fowler possesses physical talent. Quick off the edge and his biggest asset is versatility, can move him around in different defensive packages. His issue is consistency.

Ray is one of the fastest risers in the class, but you worry about his undersized frame and ability to transition to the NFL.

wasn't he the guy who took Mike Evans last year? If so I wouldn't be too worried.

What happened to mike glennon

don't forget aaron Rodgers sliding in the draft..

and then you just have some crappy guys like brady Quinn, geno smith and manziel

He was also the guy who named Josh McCown our starting quarterback the minute he signed with us :lol

The Evans and ASJ selections were the only ones I liked.

He also has a terrible track record with quarterbacks. It's hard for me to think he'll have an elite quarterback on our roster no matter who the OC is.

Fair enough. McCown is garbage. But what did ever happen to Glennon? Two years ago they were talking him up after he replaced Freeman

The only reason anybody in the organization was talking up Glennon was cause the guy he was replacing was openly snorting lines in the middle of downtown Tampa :lol

Unanimous All-American safety Landon Collins will enter the NFL draft a year early, according to Yahoo Sports' Rand Getlin.

Controversial statement; if Winston is there at 5 and Jay likes him, the #******** should take him and move RGIII for whatever they can get.

Personally, I think they're gonna trade back...but rumors are always fun.

27 Indianapolis – Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia. Yes, the defensive needs are many, but Gurley/Gordon will be gone in the 2nd round (though I like Indiana’s Tevin Coleman and Minnesota’s David Cobb as RB sleepers).

Lord......
