Weird. So all the Dolphins problems have almost nothing to do with Ryan Tannehill?
You and Omar were so sure everything was on him. This is so confusing.
How good was the D-Line this week? I'm told CAR asked MIA to throttle down pass rush so Panthers could run offense.
Why? What he do?
Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett called Fins quarterback Ryan Tannehill "overrated" and said the Miami signal caller is overpaid.
"But quarterback is the only position in the NFL where you can be mediocre and get paid," he said. "At every other position you can’t be mediocre. If I was like Ryan Tannehill, and say the most games I ever won was seven, how could you get $100 million for that?"
Hell, he has a point. A short sighted point, but a point nevertheless.
But he's no better than those who don't understand the current QB climate. When Blake Bortles is drafted at #2 overall, it speaks to what the current QB market dictates. Tanne would've been paid top dollar from half of the teams in the league. Jay Cutler is sitting pretty, and his name is not mentioned.
Yet guys like Russell is celebrated as one of the most triumphant QB's in the league. He would be Tanne, if it wasn't that D.
Yeah, he has no idea what he's talkin about. Russell is an average QB with wins. Andy Dalton is an average QB with wins.
Wins is a team effort, not just the QB. "Average" Tanne last year beat Aaron Rodgers, Mathew Stafford, and Peyton Manning, but his defense couldn't finish the game. That's on the QB?
Russ throws FOUR INT's in a playoff game, and wins. Russ is the reason for that??????
Average Tanne also smoked that Seahawk defense as a rookie, so.....
