casper90403 you said it would be THE worst class. And I told you that makes no sense. It's a consensus top 15 class right now with three 5 stars and the chance to add two more.
In 2012 I think it was we only brought in 12 people after everyone flipped. We already have 7 people (two of them 5 stars) enrolled. So your prediction was already wrong.
I get that being alarmist is fun and proclaiming the sky is falling and ragging on Helton is your schtick, but I'd rather be a realist. Coaching staff was put together late, that's in Helton, but hopefully they can salvage it. And I'd rather have a staff that as a whole can coach dudes up like they did in 2011 than a staff that gets #1 classes and then loses to Utah and Washington.

See this is my problem with 97% of Trojan nation. Anything they do sits well with you guys. I'm the opposite. I don't cheer any decision we make because I'm supposed. I dish criticism when its warranted, and clap when its warranted.
This hire, and the opinions of many Trojan faithful, proves how arrogant this program is. Its the 3rd consecutive hire where the program things anybody could step in and coach and be successful. Its time to stop that thinking.
I will revisit with you when things blow up in a year and say I TOLD YOU SO. He will not make it out past 2 years.

He'd been telling all the coaches that were recruiting him that he wanted to play WR. Everyone though his ceiling was higher at CB. Kid probably just gave in because he literally had no options among the schools that he wanted to go to.
