OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

I would give anything for Nebby to beat them and have them end the season losing three in a row. Neb-Ohio St-Sec School. The word "elite" has been thrown around tonight.

Damn didn't realize Baylor stretch coming up. If they get through that unscathed and Coleman is still putting up monsters numbers, give that man the heisman

Should that really be a hard decision for somebody? You'll maybe be able to get paid a little more at UT, but the talent disparity on offense should be big enough at A&M to not make the extra money and more difficult rebuild worth it...

There's a big talent disparity in offense between UT & aTm ?

Notre Dame beat two top 25 teams too, Navy & Temple.

And USC is ranked #7 in the college football power index and are around #10 in one of the computer polls the BCS used and Notre Dame beat them as well.

ND deserves to be up there as much as anyone else you want to name. Their defense is a little suspect but as a team they're pretty good this year and play a tough schedule.

If you bring in an OC that actually knows how to use the skill position guys, then yes. Spav found out for one game that RSJ isn't going to do anything catching the ball behind the LOS and then went away from running him on slants the next game. He's not doing anything to get Speedy or Christian Kirk the ball in space. Tra Carson isn't going to be a threat in the option game, yet we continue to run those plays on critical downs.

I think there's more potential talent to work with on the offensive side of the ball at A&M if you can get someone who knows how to work with it.

How can we have 50 WRs and not one above average RB

It all comes back to the offensive line.

Even if A&Ms offensive ceiling is higher than UTs they both more than likely go after different OCs

I always wonder whether Manziel's A&M teams would have won the Big12

in the 2012, A&M beat Oklahoma 41-13 in the cotton bowl.

in 2012, I would lean more likely to yes than no, but we werent in the big 12 so it doesn't matter

There was an interesting post on Texags saying BJ Anderson only recruited tall offensive linemen with long arms that would be good in pass protection. It doesn't look like it worked

Their problem is they play undersized Mike Matthews at center and then four tackles around him.

They can't run block and Tra Carson runs about a 4.9 so everybody can just pin their ears back and he's not breaking away.

Doesn't help they're just not very good offensive linemen either.

Exactly.

Mathews has no business playing, but they have to keep that pipeline open for the youngest brother :lol

I think I'm faster then zach moss :lol
that was a golden special that realized he wasn't gonna get playing time .

Yo Dre, how good has Derwin James been this year? Lived up to the hype?

Never thought I'd say this in a million years, but I agree with Jason Whitlock re: the Mizzou issues. :x

Im still in disbelief Sweat is playing at this level so soon after injury. Imagine how he'll be after adding weight.

That Matthews family is really a football factory.
