Just turned it to ESPN First Take and now Dwight is saying you do not need rings to consider yourself a winner?

I feel the same way, but for once I understand what he is saying. You always see guys like MJ,Kobe,John Elway Etc. who are all about winning chips. They in return are known as D@#KS loose thier close friends and family chasing this dream. Lebron fell victim to that pressure, left Cle and promised 7-8 rings before he won one. Then after he won his last ring he was asked what he thought about his doubters and pretty much said the same thing Dwight said. I think Lebron/Dwight will live a happier life than Kobe/MJ because they aren't ruining there personal life chasing rings. So I feel Dwight gave a honest answer, he knows what is important in life......... If he would have said the most important thing in his life is to get a Ring and a banner he would be lying.

I agree... While I expect him to be decent, I don't expect him to hit his stride until December-ish. The speed of the game can not be replicated.
But I am glad that he has his confidence back and I'm looking forward to seeing him work at getting back to that dominant level again

i can feel you on that...it does happen every year..lol..
the heat are 2x defending champs..nuff said..
outside of them, i think the nets, knicks, pacers bulls are all expected to win 50+ games..
what makes it fun for me, is the bottom teams are actually looking competitive...cleveland and washington coming on strong (gimme the wiz), even charlotte was sneaky and added some solid pieces...
all on paper of course..lol..cleveland over under is still at 30 wins...lol..

On paper, yes, the East should be improved. But this wouldnt be the first time that on paper, the East will be improved. So yeah, I will have to see it to believe it.
And btw, the Heat winning two consecutive titles is a completely irrelevant idea when talking about the strength of the conference in general. Yeah the Heat have been amazing for the past two seasons. But that doesnt make the conference strong.
