Regular season predictions aren't necessarily a reflection of the best teams in the conference.

Russ and Durant alone will make OKC a top 2 team in the West next year, assuming they're both healthy. Come playoff time, when coaches and teams have a whole series to plan and attack a team, then you'll see other issues or flaws pop up. But certain players are good enough to beat most teams on a nightly basis, and Russ/KD fall under that category.

I'm also not jumping on the GSW bandwagon just yet. Not saying they're bums, but I don't see them as one of the elites this season.

I have a feeling the Heat have hit their ceiling and probably won't see the Finals ever again.

Wade wobbled his way to game 7 against the Spurs, Ray Allen is no longer efficient, there is no TRUE PG, and Chris Bosh isn't used properly anymore.

It's Lebron in 2009 all over again for the Heat going into 2013-2014.

Just my opinion.

^^ But even with those flaws they won the chip two years in a row. The only concern for MIA is how will Wades knee affect him second half-postseason of the playoffs.
Lebon is the true PG

Wade will have time to rest. Ray won't forget how to shoot, he'll be fine. Lebron is the PG. I expect bosh to be traded if he continues to play poorly.

I did not realize JJ signed with the Clips

Animalthug I think your wrong, Bron is peaking right now

I don't think that will be enough for them to win it all again; just Bron alone that is.

The biggest downfall for the Heat is age...they haven't made any adjusments to bring youth in.

Bron, Wade and Bosh all going into their 11th year.

Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers stands in front of players, from left, Matt Barnes, Darren Collison, Jared Dudley, Ryan Hollins, Chris Paul and J.J. Redick.
Doc with the Pat Riley, mafia don swag.

If Wade needs rest, that's a problem. I think ray already forgot how to shoot. He's not deadly from 3 anymore. Lebron is the PG; okay....and he'll also have to be the SF, PF and C for them to succeed again.

Let's be real here, they barely got by that old Spurs team.

They have no chance against a fully healthy Thunder, Bulls or Pacers team.

I put the heat second because if they want any chance of making the finals they need to take a spurs approach towards the regular season, I think spo will be smart about

That's some thibs needs to understand he plays his players heavy minutes and tries to win every game during the season and once it comes playoff time they're worn out

@ESPNSteinLine: Warriors just announced they've picked up 2014-15 option on coach Mark Jackson's contract

that was totally the problem monta

Monta Ellis, one of the premier players remaining on the free agent market, parted ways with his longtime agent, Jeff Fried, on Wednesday.

Ellis, who opted out of the final year of a six-year, $66 million deal, is frustrated that he has yet to receive a high-paying contract offer. Industry sources expect him to sign with agent Dan Fegan.

:lol okay. Everyone assuming the Heat are just going to 3-peat, with a bunch of old *** 30+ year olds.

Aiight.

Three-peat as Eastern Conference champs, sure. Whether they win the whole thing is another question. I just don't have a lot of faith in the other Eastern conference teams, especially until I see what Rose looks like after he comes back.

"Monta Ellis have it all." -- Monta Ellis.

The funny thing about Ryan Hollins is that he's the only power forward OR center on the Clippers' bench right now.

Ray Allen, Battier, Miller and Wade all looked like **** 90% of the time compared to what they should've looked like, but it just so happens they woke up and performed EXACTLY when the Heat needed them to.

That's gonna be tough for an entire season. For Lebron to hope a full moon's out for one of those guys to have a decent game, and have to carry the team the rest of the time.

Can easily see CHI or IND catching them, but no chance vs OKC? :lol. Same size inside, More depth, more shooters, better coach, better best player.

Am I the only one that doesnt see the Clippers as a serious threat in the Western Conference?
