My team is obviously highlighted (team 11) what you all think standard fee league drafted Sunday night, 50dollar buy in, I like my team don't love it but I could have done worse my rbs are tough

clearly there where some noobs "team 5" took percy in the 7th, andrew hawkins, and a player thats not even in the nfl in slaton and aaron rodgers for his first pick in a non ppr, team 10 wasnt much better either

I have a Yahoo league that I've been doing with other Niketalk members and this is the 5th year it's been running.

There are 4 spots still open for a PPR league. Draft is set for Thursday Aug 29 at 8:45 Central.

Leave an email or PM with an email and I'll send you an invite.

Still need one more folks.

In a 10 team keeper league. My keepers were tough, I had to keep Rice, CJ2K, Calvin, AJ Green, and Jimmy Graham, and throw back Dez, Bush and Eli. :{

But, I have the 6th and 11th picks, so I have a legit shot at adding Romo and Ridley, with my eye on Cobb or Austin in rd 3. :hat

(although, I bet I know one of the guys that will snake Cobb from me)

If Cobb goes early, then I think I can adjust to Gio Bernard and Austin to make sure I keep my rookies backfilled until they are usable. I've had Rice, Calvin, Green and Graham since their rookie years, and CJ I grabbed off the waiver wire last year. :lol

Lookin forward to this draft, it's the one with the cheating commish, this time I'm just going to the draft myself so he can't alter my team like the last couple years.

Send Jordy Nelson, GB WR
Send Jermichael Finley, GB TE
Send Danny Woodhead, SD RB
Receive Steve Smith, Car WR
Receive Keenan Allen, SD WR
Receive Darrius Heyward-Bey, Ind WR

What do you guys think about this trade. Im in a PPR league I think the only thing that makes me hesitant is sending off Danny Woodhead.

Immma miss my draft this Saturday ... hopefully my prerankinga draft good for me

First time doing fantasy.
10 team standard league. Snake style.
I got the #1.
So I'm taking AP first and was thinking another RB second round (Frank Gore, Chris Johnson, MJD) with the #20.
My problem is that #21.
Do I take a WR? Julio Jones?
Or do I take a QB since I won't be picking again until #40? I should be able to get someone like Matt Ryan, Luck or Russel Wilson?
My thought was RB, RB, WR, QB, WR, TE, WR
am I making a rookie mistake?

Gore, CJ and MJD will not be there at 20, let that go right now.

Since you have AP, me personally, (depending on how it looks, most likely will be RB's) I would look at something like Brees at 20 and Green or Dez at 21.

1 elite RB,. elite QB, elite WR. To me, having a Brees/Dez combo is better than Dez/Steven Jackson, or Brees/Jackson, ya know?

At that point, your next two you find a young RB like Bernard, Lacy, Ballard to hope for a big come up like Alfred Morris last year. But if you have AP/Brees/Green (or Peyton/Dez, whatever) you know you have 3 guys capable of getting you 20+ a week, each. They won't always go 20+, but they'll have a much better shot than if you include a Jackson or Ridley in the mix, ya know?

Uhh......thats an easy reject IMO.

Need an opinion guys.  Who do you think will have the better season in a standard PPR league with bonuses for 50+ yard touchdowns....Jordy Nelson or Mike Wallace?  I can only keep one of these guys.

Thanks in advance!

That's tough. Jordy clearly has the better QB.
Wallace will likely have more looks and possibly a few 50+'s.

But Jordy gets injured a lot, and Wallace doesn't......

Wallace might be the "safer" pick cuz he typically stays healthy, and Jordy already had a procedure a few weeks back, but Jordy with A-Rodg throwin is the better grab on a game by game basis.

So it's up to you, safer play, or the higher ceiling with the better QB?

Just heard a stat that made me do a 180 on a firm stance I had.

The Lions had the 5th most attempts to their RBs in 2012.... which consited of Leshoure and Bell.

They now have Reggie Bush.

I'm up on him.

I think he'll have at least one of them will still be around. (Gore, MJD, CJ2K) at pick 20

I do agree with you about picking up an elite QB, elite WR but that's what I'm worried is that they could possibly be off the board. All depends on how your personal draft goes.

Just be prepared and know what you'll do when a curve ball is thrown at you.

Bell had a lot of balls thrown his way last year.

im high on reggie too, especially in a ppr.

stafford threw the ball over 700 times last year, CJ tackled inside the 5 yard line a bunch of times.

stafford is gonna have to dump passes every now and then, theyre all going to bush. the ceiling on that, sproles #'s. reggie is a3 down back too

in my 16 team league, I have the 13th pick and I'm praying that CJ, Gore, MJD will be there at 20 in the 2nd round......

but if not I think I'm gonna reach on Reggie Bush there. I gotta go RB-RB since my next pick in the 3rd round is pick 45

Hot damn at ya'll with 16 team leagues. I feel claustrophobic with 8 team leagues. :lol

16, the hell ya'll think you are, the actual NFL? Got 5th string RB's and ****. Draft takes a whole weekend. :lol

in a ppr league you might say " the smart money " says bush goes before gore and mjd and either side of cj

I'd go with Wallace. Big play machine and is way less injury prone than Jordy.
