OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Here was my team from a 10-man standard scoring work league. What do you think? Where do I need to go get someone?

QB Cam Newton, Car
RB Doug Martin, TB
RB DeMarco Murray, Dal
WR Larry Fitzgerald, Ari
WR Julio Jones, Atl
TE Kyle Rudolph, Min
FLEX Hakeem Nicks, NYG
D/ST Cowboys D/ST
K Justin Tucker, Bal

Bench Giovani Bernard, Cin RB
Bench Pierre Garcon, Wsh WR
Bench Shane Vereen, NE RB
Bench Golden Tate, Sea WR
Bench Michael Vick, Phi QB
Bench Justin Forsett, Jac RB
Bench Julian Edelman, NE WR

I'm assuming you had like 3rd pick? Not a bad team at all. Clear weakness at TE but it's gonna happen when you don't snag Jimmy Graham or a Witten. DeMarco Murray is the other big question mark, you never really just know what's going to happen with Dallas.

Mike Wallace or Victor Cruz?

Victor Cruz easy.

Eek at those WRs Rck. That's all you could manage? I'm just gonna assume most of them were taken as keepers :lol

All the WR were either kept or taken before (Dez, Andre Johnson, AJ Green) my 10th pick

If certain guys on your team stays healthy, you might just have a chance to win it all. Love your bench except Forsett and Edleman. You got Forsett and Edleman in a 10-team league? Come on there's gotta be someone better sitting on the waivers right now.

Before I post my results, I just would want to know your draft strategy in a league I never played in. No PPR standard scoring except -2 per INT. 12 Man team.

6th pick (So far, AP, Foster, Brees, Rodgers, Peyton)

What's your strategy?

Jeez people jumped early on QBs (which is never a good strategy). Snag Doug Martin up right away, crazy steal at the 6th pick. Come back 2nd round and take a Forte or elite WR. Get Jimmy Graham if he's there 2nd or 3rd round but if not I'm waiting on TE until late.

Edit: Just saw the double QB flex. Hmm, that makes things a bit more interesting. I would say don't panic too quickly over that. I would take a QB 6th or 7th round. Maybe take two in a row if there are good ones still available (RG3, Luck, Wilson).

Well finished my first draft... I'll take any tips and what I did wrong.

P.Manning
Spiller
L.Miller
Marshall
Cruz
S.Smith
Ravens D
K. Forbath

:{ Think I could have done better.
I like it. That WR lineup is deadly. What's your bench looking like?

My starting line up for a 12 team keeper league kept foster and kap

Colin Kaepernick

Arian Foster

Jamal Charles

Danny Amendola

Steve Smith

Reggie Bush

Greg Olson

Rams D

Adam Vinatieri

Opinions?

Tell me what you guys think. I think I grabbed a QB too early and should of waited a little longer and definitely weak at TE. Played the RB lottery and drafted a ton :lol

Just finished my draft today this afternoon and was wondering what did you guys think on how I did. 10 man league standard format. I was the last pick.

qb: Stafford

rb: Shady McCoy

rb: Alfred Morris

wr: Roddy White

wr: Reggie Wayne

te: Tony Gonzales

k: Phil Dawson

d/st: Bengals.

Bench: Ridley, Steve Smith, Steve Johnson, Deangelo Williams, Denarius Moore, Jermichael Finley,

 Ryan Broyles, and Big Ben

I am thinking the Cardinals Defense is still the FA list and I might drop the Bengals  for them. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

edit: oops forgot to add Ridley on the list

I personally like being that last pick and your team is looking solid at just about every position. :smokin

With a 2QB setup QBs went super fast and I had to bite ASAP. If you can play 2QBs you'd want to play 2QBs every weekend for sure. With that setup only 1 or 2 RBs are needed and a lot of WRs and TEs needed cause you have to play 4 vs only 1 RB.

One guy has Brady throwin the ball, the other has Kolb and EJ Manuel.

Damn solid with + upside. Nicely done.

I just waited too long for them :lol

Any upside at all in Myers or Thomas?

Just that they have a Manning throwing to them, so there's "some" hope there.

Your receivers are trash (sorry :lol), but I feel like Alshon Jeffrey and Chris Givens will both be starting over Antonio Brown and Stevie Johnson by years end.

Should I keep Sudfield on roster or release him to pick up Eifert?
