^ I agree Juanma has a suspect chin and no defense that is a bad recipe against a sharpshooter like Mikey. imo I think Mikey should be discussed as one of the top 10 lb for for lb fighters right now.I can't be the only one who think Mikey is gonna bury him

Mikey Garcia is all around better than Orlando Salido, but that doesn't mean he will deal with JuanMa easier.

^I believe I read Dallas. That Floyd-JMM fight was a joke. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't JMM jump 2 weight classes AND Floyd still came in overweight? I remember the DLH-Mayweather fight as being one of the most boring ever, might have to go back and re-watch it. In my opinion I think Zab and Cotto have put up the best effort against Floyd. I thought Ortiz made it somewhat interesting up until it unfolded badly lol. I'd give Robert a 30% chance on beating him, would love to see it happen but realisticly can't see it.

Well He would have to win by stoppage, so he has nearly no chance. But I believe he will make the fight more difficult for Floyd than just about everyone thinks.

Its pretty incredible that Cotto's performance vs Mayweather is a benchmark for doing well vs PBF. Cotto is a Highly skilled boxer, especially with angles, and giving/taking space and he tried bullying floyd to no avail.
I'd say Cotto is a Far better skilled boxer than Ghost too
Go back watch , no sound preferably. Floyd Pasted MAC. it was definitively a one sided fight. Ive watched it 5 or 6 times now and Everytime I cant give MAC more than 2 rounds. there were rounds where if Floyd had any turnup in his game, it could have ended.

Cotto did better than Mayweather's last few opponents, I don't think anyone really believes he won more than 3 rounds, maybe 4 rounds, that is giving him a couple of the close ones. I really think Floyd wanted to stop Cotto, but Cotto was able to hang on.

Anybody ever watch a fight in theaters before? Not paying 70 bucks for this and dont feel like streaming or hitting up a bar. I dont mind paying the 18$ my local theater is offering but am a little skeptical on the atmosphere.

Should be fine unless some fight breaks out. Just make sure it's a racially tolerant area where there's not much of that black vs Mexican beef.

I went to Cotto PBF fight at the theaters last year and the atmosphere was great. Like FD said, be careful about the racial tolerance of the crowd. I live in Colorado which isn't very diverse but I still watched the fight at a theater way out in the burbs because I didn't want problems

I went to the theatres one time, for Mayweather-JMM. Too many fan boys for me, I didn't want to hear what each fighter should do every round being yelled at the top of their lungs lol. "Hit him with the jab Floyd!!!!" Idk guess it depends on your tolerance for that kind of stuff. I say 30% because I believe he can win3-4 rounds. He just has to stay busy, dig deep, and be smart. Too many before have wasted energy with punches that go nowhere and then lose the round off of a few counters from Floyd.

That means you think he wins 30% of the rounds if it goes the distance. That doesn't give him 30% chance to win the fight.

him and his pops have been on record for weeks saying they wont use the jab and dont need it to win(which is so wrong its not even funny)
hatton,mosley and ortiz thought they would man handle floyd around the ring and rough him up and that sure as hell didnt work. hatton had the most luck doing it but thats because floyd slowed that fight down and didnt open up early in that fight.
and like jay said early on the more you watch the cotto fight less rounds cotto gets. he was missing on half them shots(same like ortiz was durning the floyd fight) but announcers and crowd made it seem like he kept hitting him.
Floyd ant like martinez or roy jones where if he was steps slower it would matter,he is more like bhop that he can win a fight on defense and hitting u with one shot all night

I don't think the fight will be close, but I think it will be CLOSER than most people expect. Guerrero is probably the smartest guy that Mayweather has fought for a while and he is deceptively stronger than he looks. Mayweather might not have slowed down considerably, but he has slowed down some. Cotto is a better all around fighter than Guerrero, but I believe Guerrero matches up a bit better with Mayweather. This is a combat sport and one punch can end it, so don't rule out any possibility.

I watched Mayorga MMA debut man I can't watch that stuff they just lay on their backs. Mayorga kicked the guy in the back and won by TKO. Lol he didn't even make weight was over by like 20 pounds. I liked his antics in boxing was shocked when he beat Forrest long time ago.
I'll only watch Ronda Rousey though.
