It's a boxers physique. Huge muscles and being cut up hurts a fighter.

You can win a fight and still lose stock.
Boxing purist will love him but everyone else will put him in the same camp as Devon Alexander, hard to hit but as exciting as watching paint dry.

I had it 115-112 or 116-111. I had a tough time deciding the 3rd round. Also thought the 7 & 8th were close.
Either way, Rigo had a great game plan.
Donaire should've smothered him. He was looking for one shot the entire night.
Yep that shouldve been his plan, but I suspect that Rigondeaux has more power than most people think.
BTW, Jay should be a trainer. Because he's been calling this **** for YEARS.
He had the wrong gameplan throughout. He ate some punches early, and got scared.
In the 10th, he showed what he could do when he got inside. But he was still phased by Rigo's power.
Thing is, as much power as Rigondeaux has, Donaire has it too, and it just wasn't on display. It was evident that Donaire probably could've beat up on Rigondeaux if he forced him into a scrum, a fight in close.
Then again, I can't remember the last time Donaire won a fight like that.
i was gonna take u up on that 20 , i held back in the end lmfaoooBTW, Jay should be a trainer. Because he's been calling this **** for YEARS.
Is it too much to ask Donaire to throw a jab? Jesus. He's going in there trying to finish the fight with one punch. That's not gonna happen especially with a extraordinary boxer like Rigondeaux. Much respect to Rigondeaux. He made Donaire look like a C level fighter. He put on a clinic in the ring. I know a lot of people are gonna say Rigondeaux is boring but you have got to respect his craft. The guy is a phenomenal boxer.
