Stop it, dude. Just stop. Have you seen Arizona's schedule? They play the same %**!%** teams we do, there's no chance in hell we come back from this. Just come to grips that it's over.

Dude hit y'all with the

But on a serious note, it sucks to see how the season turned out for the Giants... I'm not a fan but have been lurking this topic for months. Atleast last year the Giants barely made the playoffs & won the WS somehow. Whenever I watch this team play Cabrerra grounds out into a double play, Cody Ross always pops it up (what happenned to this dude), and getting swept by the Astros... The Dbacks are nice & no way they give SFG the division like the padres did last year by losing 10 straight.
well i respect everyone's opinion, and i'm slowly inching towards it's over for us.  as someone who goes to the games often, it's hard to think otherwise.

i've invested lots of time and money into this team, so i'm just hoping for the best.

Fair enough. But like I said earlier in the thread, at this point catching Atlanta is more likely to happen than catching Arizona.

As of right now we're 8.5 back of Arizona for the West and 7 back of Atlanta for the Wild Card. Atlanta has 3 more games with Philly, 2 more with STL who is also chasing them, and they're way more mortal than Arizona.

So if you're still dreaming of an Orange October your sights should be set on Atlanta because it doesn't matter how we get into the playoffs, a first round date with Philly would be imminent.

Some asked if we would finish above .500 a few pages back I said yes. I'd like to change my answer

just because two teams play, don't mean you have to root for one of them.
