ive met gomes before out in public. he's a stand up guy but im feeling bad for dude this season. he'll grab a rebound here or there but he just post up in the corner ball watching. which in turn lets his man come from the weak side for help. hope guy turns it around, start hitting his shot. VDN got homie playing with rookies during blowouts. tried to get dude a confidence boost with that inbound and it backfired.

^^^ Yeah, in Gomes' defense, the team really isn't doing him any favors by making him act as a spot up shooter. It would be nice if they occasionally ran some plays for him. He's a pretty big SF and actually has a decent post game, so they should get him on some flashes to the basket if he can get some good position. He's never going to do anything on offense if the only role for him is spotting up in the corners.

Exactly. He has the talent but he's in a slump. As you mentioned, if vdn can have a play for him or two catch the d off guard. He's a great team mate and great in the locker room, but damn that's not winning games. Vdn and others know he has the potential but needs to get it out of him.


Hopefully we don't give the bobcats their 4th win of the season.

^^^ Give the fans a chance to see more of CP3 and Blake, I guess. But anyway, that's the way you handle business against an inferior team. Domination. It would be great if we could get a W against Dallas to wrap up the trip. I'd take 4-2 on this trip, but 5-1 sounds much better.

as for the game against the sixers i never got a chance to give props to reggie evans, he did his thing on the boards! wish Blake would learn a thing or too from him & speaking of reggie this !%*# had me dying lmao

he's that dude that will annoy the hell out of you because he out hustled you even tho he was boxed out.

Thanks for the pics as always, YBD. Nike has really been hooking CP up with some sick colorways on his shoes this season. Love the Carolina and Red ones he wore with the throwback jerseys against the Bobcats.

One thing I do appreciate about this team is the camaraderie amongst all of them, they genuinely all click on & off the court, that's a difficult thing to find in some nba locker room... got the the mavs tomorrow,  gut check time...

Tough loss last night. We really didn't play well at all, but still were one missed 3 away from stealing one from the Champs at their house. Would have been a sweet ending if Caron hit that one on his ring night. I think the team was pretty tired. Clearly, fatigue played in to Blake's free throw problems, since he was missing them all way short. I also think it contributed to the turnovers, even from CP. Just uncharacteristic sloppy play, which I think had to do with being at the end of the trip.

Oh well, I can't be made at 4-2 on this trip, since that's what I was hoping for even before it started. The Cavs loss still stings a little, but it was still a pretty solid trip. Will nice to get home though.
