Bittersweet, I want Fed to win, but I also want Davy to get a slam too.

Coming into this tourney he was my dark-horse... he had been playing very well (looked great in Abu Dhabi, where he beat Rafa and Fed), so there was no reason why he couldn't go all the way. All things considered (and minus sets 2 and 3), he played okOriginally Posted by tSamShoX
Davydenko will beat Federer. Trust. Dude is the hottest player in the game right now.

Novak is a funny guy. We've seen this time and time again. He had such an easy draw this tournament until he ran into a great player in Tsonga, and then out come the injuries, sicknesses, whatever. b.s. Why wasn't he sick in any of his previous matches? Also he books to the locker room to "throw up" after Tsonga breaks him to go up 2-0 in the 4th set. This guy plays mindgames to turn the momentum. His mentality is: When losing/feeling the pressure,, give up. At least he didn't retire this time and a true player like Tsonga beat him. I find it unfortunate that Novak's mental game and immaturity will keep him from being a number one player which he has the potential to be.
The guy always seems to have some physical ailment... I think we all know how he's been in the past, but this time it was really weird. He was up 2 sets to 1, and only down 1 break in the 4th set, so it was by no means a bad position for him. In all fairness, he did look rather pale during the 3rd set and onwards, so maybe he really was sick. The timing of it all was just really odd.
In the past, no doubt, he played a lot of mindgames, but this time I'm gonna give him the benefit of a doubt simple because at that point in the match, he didn't need to play mindgames. He also mentioned post-match that he had diarrhea and vomited the night before, but who really knows?
