OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

as a pacers fan, words cannot explain how happy i am that this finally happened...this team has too much talent to be this bad we just can't close out games most of the time and its obriens rotations fault

Pacers fired their coach because of the Bulls' beating?

Love is the better player. Love puts up the better numbers (not "comparable" ones). I'm sure other players would rather play with Love. I'm sure coaches would rather have and coach Love. Minnesota isn't terrible because of Love, and Memphis isn't a little bit less than terrible just because of Randolph. That's not hate.

I was just thinking, has there ever been this much talent at one time at the guard/wing positions in the league?

I mean in just these two ABC games today: Bron, Wade, Durant, Westbrook, Kobe, Ray, Paul, Rondo.

90s was the golden age of the center position, now seems there are elite guards/wings everywhere.

So, a playoff contending team is a little bit less than terrible in the Western Conference now? What makes 20 and 13 not comparable to 21 and 15 when Zbo has the better FG% and averages more offensive RPG. Zbo has had five 20-20 games. I believe 3 30-15 games. When Zbo is playing the way he's playing NOW, this team wins ball games and instead of being .500 they would probably have the Clippers record right now.
This is not about who a player or coach would rather play with, but I don't see the players complaining about what Zach is doing on and off the court these past 2 seasons. Minnesota isn't terrible because of Love, but its not like he's doing #*@@ on the defensive end either just like Zbo.
What makes it any different for you to give Love the nod? Is it because your a fanboy of the guy as well? I guarentee you if you switched up the teams these guys were on and Zbo was putting up Love numbers and vice versa that you would say Love deserves the nod over Zbo even though his numbers aren't so called "comparable". I'm pretty sure players and coaches would rather play have Griffin. Why not choose Griffin over Love?

I'm pretty sure coaches and players worry more about Griffin and Zach in their gameplans than they do Love. Its hard to argue against Love's numbers which is 11 and 36. The Twolves record.

If Minnesota continues to be a top 3-5 lottery team every year for the next 3 or so years, Kevin Love will still get the nod as an all-star every single year even though several guys play extremely well on losing teams during previous years? Why the same can't go for Monta Ellis? That's because you don't like Monta Ellis so you wouldn't use the same rule for him for Love. Being top 5 in the league in scoring doesn't deserve an all-star nod?

I take Kevin Love pretty much anyday. The dude is still hella young, and Zach been around this block a bit longer. Even if he's been good, he still has the capacity to be a goddamn bonehead.
