Brian Cardinal?

Ehhh I would be pumped, but Budinger>Granger. The guy would easily solidify our woes at the small forward position

On the reals though..... Why don't the Kings go after Granger

Lol. Larry Bird ain't gonna trade Granger for nothing. The core of Granger, Collison, and Hibbert looks good on paper and you don't need to be great to make the playoffs out in the East. Pacers looking pretty good next year with their fat contracts gone.

Better chance of getting Gerald Wallace actually, but I rather address the PG problem first. CP3 can make Cousins the next Shaq.

Russ had experience with KD, who was THE guy this past summer, I fully expect him to shine better next to Durant.

You can't play that what-if game. If Rose and Durant were on the same team, personally, I'd think they'd be much closer to being a contender than they are right now.

Rose has lead his team since he got in this league. Lead them to the Playoffs, and played one of the best series in the Playoffs in recent history, if not ever. The best player Rose has played alongside is Noah.

The best player Russ plays alongside is going to go down as an all-time great in his position. Rose just has that it factor, the dedication, the no-nonsense mentality about him. I watch Rose, I see a guy that scares me. Russ doesn't scare me as much.

I'm not downplaying Russ at all, he's still a great PG, but IMO, Rose is up there right with Deron and Paul.

His game just keeps improving by leaps and bounds, and he's a natural leader.

Reading stuff like this is freakin' awesome.

Great time to be a Bulls fan.

Not even a "legit" Bulls fan anymore, but really? Lets give some credit to some of the players that are no longer on the Bulls like Ben Gordon and John Salmons during Rose's rookie year. Making it sound like LeBron here like Rose played with garbage... Noah was having a fine season, but to say he is the best player Rose played with in the past three seasons is really subjective.

But yeah, Rose is that dude.

Salmons and BG?

Really?

Nah, I take Noah.

He's not the offensive force, but what he does on both ends makes him a better player than Salmons and BG.

Still, none of those guys are KD.

No doubt. But still gotta give props to the rest of Bulls team during Rose's rookie and second season. And before Gordon fell off with the Pistons, the "Air Gordon" talk had to mean something right? Can't be giving out nicknames like that for fun.
grin.gif

Sidebar, the MVP thread making Rose like LeBron in Cleveland where he got garbage teammates. That isn't right and some Bulls fans turning annoying...

BG was a monster that playoff series for us
pimp.gif
he took all the big shots for us up until last season when he left. That game 4 three he hit over Pierce was just
sick.gif
.  He also had a crazy shootout with Ray during that series. Make no doubt BG did his thing while he was here
pimp.gif
the one you see with Detroit is not the one us Bulls fans remember. Hinrich also helped bring Derrick along very nicely during his first two years.
