I have no idea why Bargnani is still in the league.  Makes no sense.

And I love how you have to wait almost a month into the season before you can come rescue your boy Bosh.  @#$% outta here with his one good game outta 12 and THEN you come in here with how great he is/was/will be etc etc.  Dude is riding coattails, you know, we know it, he knows it.  And if he goes ghost for another dozen games and then has a big one, don't come back in here with your "I told you Bosh was great" crap.

The bottom line will be that when the big lights come on, and the pressure is on, that boy will be no where to be found.  He won't want any part of postseason pressure vs the Celts or Magic.  Then you won't want to be in here arguin for him no more.

Sure, we all know you can count on your hands the amount of games you've seen Chris play, I've seen EVERY SINGLE game of his career and given how much stock you put into actually watching the game I'm just going to ignore that. You don't know anything about Chris Bosh, neither does 90% of this forum.

but seriously Bargs really got spence.

Roy’s knee is the one that scares Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers have been playing without center Greg Oden for three years now, pushing past 50 victories and reaching relevance again. They stopped counting on him. The regime responsible for drafting Oden over Kevin Durant has been pushed out, and a fresh front office bears no burden for a broken No. 1 pick.

Another microfracture surgery for Oden, as the team announced Wednesday, is just another step closer to the Blazers letting him leave this summer.

As much as the training staff likes Oden, it will have to take into account the mental toll that four years of flailing has taken on him. The issues which have surrounded him – his drinking, his deep emotional lows – play into the uncertainty around his future as much as the two microfracture surgeries on his knees.

The Blazers could survive without Oden, but its true star – Brandon Roy – has the knees which truly frighten the franchise.

The guard will miss the next two games with soreness in his left knee – a knee that has grown worse and worse. There’s damage and deterioration, and two league sources with direct knowledge of the medical prognosis on Roy say his days as an NBA All-Star, a franchise player, are probably over.

“There’s no real hope of it improving,â€

Ok, and I have seen close to 1,000 Kobe games in his career, does that mean you'll agree with whatever I say on him as a player?  Bet not knowing your hatred for the man.

I've seen plenty of Bosh games, not as many as you, sure, but enough.  And frankly, watching all those meaningless regular season games you have doesn't do anything to change my view that the man will shrink when it matters.

Chris Bosh 6 road playoff games in his life.  Record?  0-6.  On 3-10, 5-12, 8-22, 4-11, 9-19 (not bad) and 7-19 shooting.

I know the guy is talented, I'm not saying he's Kwame Brown here, but when he does jack @#$% for 10 games, and then finally shows up for 1 (one in which the other team has zero bigs to defend him with mind you) don't bother coming in here with "I've seen all the games, this man is a beast!!!!"  type @#$%^&*(.  I've seen 6 of his 11 games this year, and he hasn't done anything relevant until this game.  He was a non factor in the other 5 games I saw him in.  I remember saying in here last year during the Bynum for Bosh rumors, that Bynum MASHED all over Bosh in that game in Toronto like Bynum was angry he was close to being moved for Bosh.  Wasn't it Bosh who didn't want to play at the end of the year last year cuz he didn't want to get spanked by the Cavs in the first round?  Was it not Bosh who just said coach pushes us too hard, we want to just chill?  I'm sorry, but you add all this stuff up and his true colors just show thru, he's "soft".  He isn't out there livin and dyin for the game.  He don't care if he wins anything, he just wants to run around and get some attention and be rich and that's that.  Like I said, he's talented for sure, but does he crave winning anything?  Is he gonna kill himself trying to get to the top of the mountain?  Will he show out in big games vs elite talent?

But yeah, you seen him play some games in December against the T-Wolves that I haven't.  Or that January game vs the Clippers.  So yeah, your opinion on him means more then mine.

It's hilarious how all of the Chris Bosh and Heat threads are being bumped now because the dude showed up. Good job, you outplayed Channing Frye, Hakim Warrick, and Hedo Turkoglu.
laugh.gif

It's also incredibly sad, and borderline obsessive, that one person is doing the bumping...

Chris Bosh has been in the the top 5 in FTA per game most of his career, DO Y'ALL REALLY BELIEVE he did that ONLY SHOOTING JUMPSHOTS? I mean really use your brain for  a second and think.

He is getting the ball a third less than he use to in Toronto, Miami inexplicably has one of the slowest offense in the league, excuse me if he has to adjust to that.

It's pointless to even argue cause I know most have you barley ever seen Bosh play.
Wow, a Raptor fan defending Bosh?
eek.gif

Anyway the term soft does have a place in the basketball world.

It more so describes a player's inability to rebound the basketball or defend effectively in the post.

Bosh fits the bill on both of those, although his rebounding isn't as bad as he's shown early on this year. His defense overall is soft though. He doesn't want to mix it up in the paint at all. Definition of soft.
Nope, but nice try, there defensive problems with bigs has much more to do with them getting eaten up by great point guards. There plus minus is evidence of this but when Bosh is on the court there defense is better.

were we talking about Chris Bosh or the Miami Heat?

Chris Bosh was soft in Toronto, and he's still soft in Miami. Him being soft has nothing to do with whatever team he plays for.

Please get off your knees.

Injuries have regressed him.

And I knew Beasley just needed a change of scenery. People are easy to write off a player because he looks average or bad with one team. That's not always the case.

I can't believe all it took was a pick to get him and I wanted him on our team only for us to just look past him.
