Raff calls onions on any clutch shot. He never misuses it or overuses it.
He's the best

He just calls on big, difficult shots at the end of games. I don't think it matters how it goes on, just the importance and the degree of difficulty.

I can't believe you guys haven't figured out the "onions" call yet. He used to use it for game winners or big time shots only. Why"ONIONS?" Because onions, like game winning shots, leave someone crying. Now he throws the damn phrase out on any shot with 5 minutes or less left inthe game. I'll never forget when he let out a "DAGGER" call one time when there was still 11 minutes left in the game.
