In his career vs the White Sox, Shields has 4 starts against them. He went 1-1 with a 4.94 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. Jermaine Dye is a career 5-10against Shields with 1 HR. Thome is 4-12 with 1 HR. Alexei Ramirez is 2-4 with 1 HR. You get the idea. The White Sox hit well off of Shields.
And with Zambrano, he's not bad against the Phillies. In his career vs Philadelphia which is 7 starts, Zambrano went 3-3 with a 3.38 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP.That's not bad. Chase Utley is 3-13 against Zambrano with 4 Ks. Ryan Howard is 3-13 with 2 Ks. Jimmy Rollins is 3-17 with 3 Ks. You get the idea. Zambranois effective against the Phillies.
Out of Shields and Zambrano, I'd sit Shields.

In the last week, Uggla has been 1 for 9 and he's playing in Petco. Not a good combo.
Theriot has been 3 for 15 in the past week. That's much better than 1 for 9 from Uggla... and he's playing in Citizen's Bank. That's better,IMO.
