Very few players on the bulls cared about defense, but Thibbs (a first year head coach) has them playing like the freaking celtics.

you remember when he benched rose for like the last 7 minutes of the game against us? the first one? Pringles would never do some %!+% like that. He only holds Toney Douglas accountable

I thought he did that cuz they were already losing. In the first game against us Rose wasn't the only person not guarding open shooters for 3. He should've benched the whole starting line up then.

We all know Pringles isn't a defensive minded coach but I just can't see how we're gonna blame him cuz he isn't Thibbs. When Thibbs is notoriously known for his defense. I mean outside of Rose, objective Bulls fans aren't the happiest with their team's offense.

D'Antoni has succeeded with an offense 1st team. It's not like we didn't know what we were getting when he was hired. A valid excuse for him is that the team sucked when he got here and when he had a better team we were a playoff seed but then that team basically got traded away. Thibbs wouldn't do any better with this team. Yall would've been screaming murder had he benched Melo for the 4th against the Pacers.

I just don't see where the players aren't held more accountable when they are the ones on the court. The coach can direct and guide you but he can't force them to focus on defense.

TD is the biggest !*#! up on the Knicks though and if Pringles had another viable option he wouldn't plat Toney at all. He deserves it.

We don't need Chandler back on this team anyway and he deserves a lot of money for the improvement he's made these past few seasons.

I thought he took them out to show a message like what popovich did. And I don't think it was just rose sitting. Can't remember though

I blame dantoni because he won't even let a defensive coach near his team unless it's his brother. He wouldn't have allowed Thibbs to be the assistant defensive coach if that were even an option. It was a huge fall out when phx requested he get a defensive coach.

How many coaches admit they suck at coaching defense or offense and submit to hiring outside help? Especially on teams that have potential to be winning teams or are middle of the road winning teams on the cusp.

Better off firing the whole coaching staff. I can't even recall a coach that's saved his job by doing that.
