It just seemed like he picked up where Flip Murray took off IMO. Averaging a few more points, putting up a few more buckets, but it's amazingwhat a good team, a good coach, and a good atmosphere with playing time can do for your career.

That was the role for Jamal for YEARS. glad he finally found it.

Give Roy another year or two and watch out.

I was on the boat that he'll make a huge jump this year.

He's definitely improved. He's staying on the floor, he's blocking shots, I'm very impressed with him.

And I'm sorry, but Nene >>> Marc Gasol.

Pretty sure he's talking about Hibbert, dude's been goin in lately

Marc Gasol is definitely up there as a top center... Anyone who saw him play last year would've known that he was going to be much better with that weightloss except for management & they drafted thabeet

.. Only way thatwill work now is if Gasol gets quicker to play the 4 after Zach leaves.

I think Gasol is better then Nene. I don't see much in Nene other then brute strength.

Maybe Gasol is just more polished then Nene is to me. I've never really seen Nene get it on the block and do work.

Marc doesn't possess the athleticism and foot speed that Nene does, but he's younger, a better rebounder and a better scorer.

Roy has almost double his point production, doubled his rebounds and blocks, and only has .7 more Personal Fouls per game in almost a full 28 minutes per gamecompared to 14.5 minutes last year.

He's definitely playing some good basketball.

I don't know, there's something about Nene I've always liked. He has an edge to him that you want from your Center. He's crafty, he'sathletic, he gives you everything you'd want out of your center IMO.

I don't think Marc's a dramatically better rebounder, I mean if you had all those forests in Memphis that Denver does, his RPG might drop a tad too.

The scary thing about Gasol is that he turns 25 in January. He's already doing work in his 2nd season. I really don't know where his peak will be, butI expect him to get even better over the next few years.

He gets so mad at himself when he doesn't perform well.

Hedefinitely went head up with Nene in their game earlier this season.

Just imagine if he was still on the Lakers.

but we all have said they need a PF

and Larry Hughs SUCKS, he cant put them numbers up night in and night out and thats why he keeps getting traded

and i cant put gasol in the top 5 of TRUE centers right now

Howard
Bynum
nene
lopez
Caveman

him and Bogut fighting for that 6th spot

Andrew Bogut will be out 2-4 weeks.

Let's see how Jennings does now. A lot of his success came via the high pick and roll with Bogut.

^ good luck with Gadzuric. better off with thomas in there.

What's the deal with McGrady? Demanding to be activated? Houston just gonna keep him sitting?

What the hell with the NBA?

No Chris Paul = no problem.

Peja big yesterday. KLJ smiles. THAT'S the Peja I knew before. Phoenix shoulda told him it was the playoffs last night, things woulda turned outdifferent.

Another Spurs loss. That keeps happening. Someone said it might. I won't mention me him.

Pau.

Somebody else can now lead the league in scoring, Kobe will go back to last year around the 25 ppg mark.

Rose looked a lot better last night. It's his ankle right? Just tweaked that or what did he do to it?

Bogut.

I start bringing him up yesterday and now he's out? Comeon dude.

Noah looks like a damn beast out there. That should serve Chicago well. But they need to get Tyrus back out there.

Tmac drama, AI, and Nash stans back on the clock, I need a vacation.

I wouldn't want TMac anywhere near that team. Remember this is the guy that decides to have season ending surgery around the time rumors heat up that hewas getting traded to New Jersey.

I'm disappointed Jameer's out just as Rashard finally came back off suspension, so it's going to be even longer until we see the full Magic team.

Still looking forward to tonight's game, tough matchup in Boston, hopefluly the Magic can pull it out.

A friend of mine here at work said he was out in Boston this week and watched the Celts v Warriors game. He said that Sheed walked up and down the court lazyas hell and did literally nothin in that game.

Now, I didn't get to see that game, so I don't know how accurate that is, but he's a pretty smart guy and he was laughin at how slow he looked andhow uninterested he was. Maybe that's because it's early in the regular season, but has anybody else noticed this? I've seen him do nothin butjack up 3 pointers, but hadn't noticed him slowly goin up and down the court or anything. Ima be lookin for that tonight.
