I remember when Nike had a exhibit following THE 10 drop. The Black Cement and Sail 4s were on display along with other samples. Those Sails will always be the best Off-Whites imo. So perfect and original.

Based on market value yes. But keep in mind they will most likely never retro the Off White 5. With the recent Kobe deal, there will be many future releases. Not this year. But most likely in 2024, Nike will probably have a big marketing campaign and several Kobe releases. Nike is discussing what pairs to bring back in addition to new colorways. I wouldn’t do it. But if you want those Kobes then go for it. Can’t fault anyone for going for Kobes with how the recent releases have been.

Finally wore these out to dinner. I love the shoe but when I took them off a small chunk of the sponge-like lining was stuck to my sock around the ankle. I examined them pretty thoroughly and couldn’t find any noticeable chunks. Maybe leftover material from construction?

I think I may be too paranoid to own this sneaker. How is everyone else’s pairs holding up?

Honestly your biggest problem might be lint from your socks on the sock liner. The foam holds up relatively well IMO.

I think these are pretty tough, I've worn mine in Poland in the snow and slush- they're great and don't show wear
