could be full of ****Looks like they made 9.5s
i find it weird that dudes want to post their old pairs trying to down play a current pair, if you don't like the shoe it's understandable but don't try and frown down on others liking a new interpretation because it isn't your taste. or act like because they weren't there for the og or 1st retro pair that someone else can't like the new pair.
word there's plenty of twos collectin dust that you can still grab on the low. the cheeseblock toebox, clearly these are a pr move to get kids buyin product. no knock at nike, but its business as usual. Just wait it out, an og retro on the way.
but isn't that the point of the the shoe? to generate hype and bring attention to the model that nobody besides the og's would look at? thus having a new wave of people wanting the next rendition no matter what it looks like. i just feel like we (me included sometimes) hold on to these sacred memories that these shoes provided us growing up, and want to protect it from "outsiders" trying to take what we had and mess it up. when it should be the other way around. let the young bucks enjoy the new wave even if it's based on our old one. either way nothing is going to top what we had no matter how much they slap a celebrity on it and deconstruct it with a zip tie!I don’t think this is the issue though, it’s more the sheer number of people who hate on a model until a hyped collab drops and those same people who are hating suddenly like the model because of newfound resale value and hype lol
Hell, this is 10000% not unique to 2s or even retro Js.. Look at SB Dunks-that’s a textbook example for you.
wonder if the 10s will ever be hype lol. its all a fad anyways. the ultimate disrespect is jb giving this the "og" treatment and the retros the cheese block toe boxbut isn't that the point of the the shoe? to generate hype and bring attention to the model that nobody besides the og's would look at? thus having a new wave of people wanting the next rendition no matter what it looks like. i just feel like we (me included sometimes) hold on to these sacred memories that these shoes provided us growing up, and want to protect it from "outsiders" trying to take what we had and mess it up. when it should be the other way around. let the young bucks enjoy the new wave even if it's based on our old one. either way nothing is going to top what we had no matter how much they slap a celebrity on it and deconstruct it with a zip tie!
Prices have gone up in my size
imma try to wait it out before I make a move
Resell sure is pretty high for nobody liking 2's. You would think these would be like the hiking joints that were dropping.
Who are you gonna buy from?Im sayin.
Close to $700 for common sizes now smh. When it drops (hopefully) back down to $600 or under ill pull.
If these OW 2s never dropped, I wonder if it would be an instant sell out if Nike dropped regular white/red AJ 2
Lows and regular AJ black/blue 2 lows tomorrow without a zip tie. Bet they'd sit
