I got cash that I’m planning on putting towards this Shadow 2 Compact.

my booth somehow always gets out of hand . My boy let me run his Surefire Ryder on the SP5 and it sounded extremely good but I still cant get over their mount system. Im currently talking myself out of a .300blk setup because im poor

I see so many people who screw up all the various mounts in all types of random ways....

Literally have never seen a single person mess up a surefire mount.

Dudes are quick to complain about carbon lock but the interface (on mine at least) is so tight, I had to work to take it off the very first time I mounted it (and didn't shoot any rounds)

I have yet to run into carbon locking (granted I haven't done any 500 Rd days or anything)

Just a long winded rant that has little to do with you outside of your mentioning the mount lol

I hear you 100% man  . Sometimes when you see issues or read threads about folks having mounting issues in general you almost have to assume you’re not getting the full story or there may be a variable left out. What barrel length are you running yours on?

14" pinned to 16"

I just legit never hear of any issues with the actual mount, i.e. backing off, baffle strikes, non-concentricity, entire muzzle device/mount coming off inside can and has to be RMA'd etc etc

Got my brother a Marlin 1894 in 357 for his birthday and same day he picked up up a S&W 686 plus in 357

Had to introduce the new lever to the old Marlin 336 in 35 Remington too and I always ALWAYS shoot my Ruger 10/22

Been messing around with AK’s the last few months. This one is a WBP Jack in 5.56 with the PSA/Soviet Arms plum furniture just added today.

Should have a “little” something coming in from SC next week too.

Cowboy guns so fun, I need a lever action

I'm just tryna get familiar with as many different types of actions as possible, wanna be able to pick up basically anything within reason and be able to make it go boom
levers bolts and revolvers have been A L O T of fun tho

I gotta get more comfortable with shotguns..

^ hell yeah to getting more familiar with shotguns.

*gets on soapbox* the shotgun is still the most devastating single trigger pull a regular person has access to. With the right gun, proper form and appropriate ammunition, there’s nothing within 100 yards a good 12 gauge shotgun can’t do. Large animal defense? 12 g with brennekes. Hunting geese? 12 g bird load. Deer hunting? 12 g hollow point slug. Bad guys? 8-9 pellet 00 buckshot, preferably federal flight control.

With a longer wood furniture, it’s your grandpappy’s deer gun. With an extended tube, light, and optic, it’s the 50 yard gunfight king. With a longer barrel, it’s appropriate for small game hunting. It can be almost anything you need it to be. The fact that you can buy a good, solid pump shotgun for $300 anytime online is just the icing on the cake.

Up until a few years ago, I was a 60% pistol, 30% shotgun 10% rifle guy. Once I get all my rifles setup I’d like to get back into it. Video is from probably 3-4 years ago when I was shooting a a couple hundred rounds of hand loaded buckshot and slugs monthly. Apologies for my mouth being wide open, got that from my pops 😂
