Im glad they got you hooked up! Id rather wait a few business days/weeks than take that chance of a major problem happening! For sure…they signed me up for next day shipping so it should arrive tomorrow…sure enough my pin moved regardless of plunder positioning..I’ll keep you boys posted

Finally got the Scorpion out and it didn’t disappoint at all. Ran 150 rounds with no can/sighting in the Romeo 5 then went straight for the Obsidian. This thing is incredible. The 165g stelth were absolutely stupid all I could hear was the trigger reset and the bolt cycling, 147g american eagle and 150g Syntech were absolutely glorious too. Ran about 400 rounds total and yeah this stock safety ate up my finger, def grabbing the HBI replacement . Ran the Obsidian with the fixed barrel spacer to see how well it would stay mounted and i was letting off some pretty quick shots back to back and it didnt walk off at all, didnt even use teflon tape on the threads, has me debating whether I need the tri lug or not.
Dont you start this! I want nothing to do with class III stuff for a while after finally getting these 3 cans . I just took off my birdcage, took off my 1/2x28 thread protector then to mount it use your rugged 1/2x28 piston, remove your spring and swap it with your barrel spacer, then throw your locking cap on the end. I was worried it wouldnt stay tight and even a rep from Rugged told me to be careful with rapid fire but it was on snug. Like snug to the point i really had to crank to get it off and this was without thread tape. I ran 250 rounds with just this setup and checked after each mag and it was fit perfect so im holding off on the tri lug for now.Go ahead and SBR that bad boy you know you want to. I’ve been going back and forth with the mounting system for my scorpion…did you just removed the bird cage and used the fixed spacer in place of the piston to mount? Everything I read said the Tri lug was needed
