Never fails man. People fear/panic buying. My local guy wouldnt even sell me the one Scorpion he had left in stock. He straight up told me you have plenty of guns let somebody else over pay for this one haha couldn't even be mad. Mans had ALL guns marked up 100 bucks. Selling boxes of HST for 35 bucks. Charging a fee for people that get denied. I was like cool I'll be back when it dies down and they're selling **** back to you.

He was selling Escorts and Maverick 88s and tri stars for 5 and 6 hundred. :smh

I took a 3 year hiatus off NT. Now I am back. These were my last 2 builds.... back in 2018.

Negative.

Find a good shop and keep going.... once they see that if they take care of you, your a constant revenue stream for them your Gucci. My shop will actually order me whatever I see online at that price and split the transfer fee. That means hes receiving the gun for me handling the paper work and making 20 bucks off it.... would they be willing to do that for someone who doesnt spend thousands of dollars in there, probably not

The average customer for them mighttt buy 2 guns a year. You buy 3, 4, 5 etc in a few months they will not forget you

But you are right to an extent. If your jus browsing slickguns for the best deals on earth yea might be still cheaper after transfer

After FFL & background check fees internet doesn’t end up that much cheaper. If you can find a local store that isn’t a big chain that is where the deals are to be had especially as a repeat customer/

Whooo, weee at Mav 88's for 500 or 600. At one time those could be had for $150. About two or three weeks ago I saw a deal online for 590s for around 250. A local sporting goods stores around me had one or two 88s for around $150. Of course those are long gone.

As far as the 22 review:
I put around 300 rounds of 36 grain Winchester and Remington hollow points aka your cheap, bulk ammo. Had three misfires all due to failure to load. Mostly they were right at the beginning. Once the gun got hot it would blaze through the 16 round mags without a problem. I knew coming into this that 22LR is prone to jamming but I also didn't do anything to the gun. I wanted to see how it would fire right out of the box. I have since oiled it and bought CCI Stinger and will see how that works.

Personally I love the gun. Fun for shooting all day, accurate and if I get in a jam I have no problem using it for self defense.

Took our class and got some shots in today. Here’s my results from 15 ft. Not terrible for first time shooting. I enjoyed the HK VP9 the most, then the Ruger 357, then the G19. Wife actually hated the Ruger and like the G19 the best. That G19 shot way down there was the instructor trying to teach me how to pull the trigger very slowly. Not taking "credit" for that one!

My guy! Smart man photographing some groups, itll become addicting trying to tighten them up as you move back. Soon you'll be popping soda cans at 25 yds.

You gunna buy the HK? CDNN sports had the bronze version for 599.99 for the longest.

What barrel length for the Ruger btw. You shot that REALLY well for a complete newb and that kinda power. I'd guess you we probably throwin 38 specials and not full power magnum loads?

Based on that grouping I would get the 357. That is damn good for first time shooting.

Picked up my HK yesterday and got this case. Gonna hit the range tomorrow and probably take my Remington 870 out this weekend. Next gun I pick up with be the Panzer Amrs AR12 semi auto shotgun. Seen nothing but good things.

As for this one, I'll be looking into getting the buffer tube adapter and adding a tube later on. Wish I coulda grabbed the official HK adapter but they gone everywhere. Only thing available are folding stock adapters and they are $100+

Yeah man I'm looking into the HK in more detail. Doing all my online research, etc.

The barrel on the Ruger was 3' (https://ruger.com/products/sp101/specSheets/5719.html). Yeah we were only doing 38 specials. I definitely enjoyed shooting it. I'm still going to look into the 7 shot 4.2" barrel version.

Around me the two stores I have went to were way over priced vs buds gunbroker etc.

My M&P 2.0 they said they can order it for me for 575. I went home ordered it for 403 with taxes and shipping then paid 25 for the transfer at their store.

I havent price shopped at the big stores yet but I also dont buy guns frequent enough to where it has become an issue.

Just tried to shoot at Colonial Shooting Academy which is the largest indoor range in the country here in Richmond. 4 hour wait for non members. There was hardly any merchandise on their shelves. I think everyone is tooling up.
I believe this as well. Right now black gun groups like NAAGA are starting to see an increase in members since more blacks are starting to realize that gun ownership might not be a bad thing. This has led me to buying shares of Smith & Wesson & Ruger.

I want to buy from a gun shop but I’m black and live in Oregon. I can’t trust that I won’t get weird energy walking into shops. I think I may stick to ordering online.

I thought the same initially, and I live in the city of socal and my area is only white, asian, or mexican.

But when you buy online you still have to have it go through an ffl dealer/shop. It's not that serious. Don't just act suspicious and you'll be good.

I'd imagine you'd have to have online guns shipped to an FFL. I totally understand the energy you could anticipate. I tried searching for black FFL, but I think they were in other States. I think it was NAAGA associated.
