Congrats. Nothing like having naive optimism, only to realize 3 months later that the real world is cold and heartless

In the old days, jobs would be lined up for most graduates, but not now. It's all about who you know and marketing yourself.Originally Posted by Lalph Rauren

congrats ... life gets better. make some money.
I was elated to graduate college. My university felt like a damn bubble even though I went to school in a city...made the mistake of living on campus instead of living around the city (would have been cheaper too).

all three years I was there. I did a a year at a CC then transferred. I went to GW in DC and despite the fact it is located where it is, it has a small feel to it. I lived in my fraternity's house my senior year (technically off campus) but still right there.Originally Posted by rck2sactown

DC has some decently affordable neighborhoods (well if you are looking to rent a room at least) around the city and I think it would have been a better experience not being so caught up near campus.
first of all, congrats!Originally Posted by trak1sh

Poli Sci is completelyunless you want to go to law school (which I have no desire to do whatsoever)
I want to be an actor but would probably settle for just about anything in the entertainment business. I'm thinking of trying to get an internship at a production company or talent agency.
