But in all seriousness, the Patriots seem to be getting a little too much love, and not just from bettors, but from sports columnists and analysts alike. And the justification behind the love is so superficial. Things like "durrr, Patriots," bringing up historical records that have absolutely no bearing on what can and will happen tonight, and the ever so overused "emotions" angle. If you didn't know any better, you would have no idea that they are facing a team that went 12-4 last year, won their division, and was a field goal away from a championship Sunday birth.
