Green Bay -2 (Large)

Skeptics and so-called sharps are overthinking this one IMO. It may look like a trap, but in actuality I think Green Bay wins fairly clearly. The action at the casinos is probably about even with the "squares" making up more of the betting tickets, but in smaller amounts and the "sharps" accounting for a lower % of bets but pounding the Vikings with larger piles of money. Another factor to consider is that this is the last game on the board and a lot people are going to bet late mostly on Minnesota to chase their losses, which is why I believe is part of the reason it is priced the way it is.

Giants vs Saints Under 54
In this game I see both QB's will coming out with a very calculated approach. I expect this game to be fairly anticlimactic with very little rushing or long passes.

I also like Raiders-4 and Titans+6.

The Vikings aren't a public team though. You chase your losses with Aaron Rodgers, not Sam Bradford.

We'll see...Should be close either way.

Well nowadays "public" isn't so "public", with the internet and social media. The public just follow the sharps blindly to chase. I could be overthinking that this is some curve ball that Vegas is setting up. But I see it being close in spots but ultimately Packers are too much.

Accurate as far as the public thing. Maybe 10 years ago but with social media and more allege "transparency" everybody is a sharp lol

Funny how much things have changed since I started. Books don't even put out the same lines they used to in certain situations because of how betting patterns have changed.

I broke even this weekend:

Won 75 on Cowboys +2.5
Lost 35 each on Jags +3 and Packers -2.5

My college and MMA bets were a wash as well. I ended the weekend up 17 bucks overall.

Anyone taking action on today's MNF game?

What's everybody's thoughts on the pats tomorrow?

Never gonna bet against Billy B with the points at home, learned that lesson the hard way, but might just stay away altogether.

I took Houston -2.5 on Sunday and the line was pk when I checked last night.

I'm not feeling great about it, but it's too late to buy out of it.

My gut feeling is that the Patriots blow out the Texans no matter who plays QB. I'm not saying I would bet a house on it though.

for me, the only reason i said i'd avoid it just too many unknowns with this whole Jimmy game time decision business. granted, i know Brissett starts the game, the fact that the window is open for Jimmy to dress and get into the game makes me say no thanks. and the 0.0001% that Jimmy starts? ugh...as a bettor, i HATE belichick

This. Always a tough home team.

And I don't care what's being said, Arizona ain't the same. Carson is hit or miss. Defense can still be great, but I'm off the AZ wagon this season.

As Jim Cramer would put it...

Fade, fade, fade!
Arizona is also feeling good off a blowout win, but has to travel to the east coast and play an early inter-conference game (circadian rhythm factor) vs a Rex Ryan 0-2 team (desperation). Bills are horrible and Watkins's health is questionable, but those factors must be taken into account.
