This is your typical offense vs defense match up. The Falcons had a great season opener at the dome with a SU win as underdogs to a team who many believed to be SB contenders. The Bucs have looked stellar on defense thus far, however both their oppositions have had to rely on backup QBs one of them a rookie.. So without a doubt the Falcons have had a more difficult schedule.. Matty Ice gets extra protection tonight with T Jake Mathews returning from injury while having the luxury of facing a banged up Bucs D.. I don't doubt that we will see some turnovers by the Falcons, but if Atlanta could contain TBs running game who expects to have Doug Martin back, I just don't think McCown and the rest of the offense could keep up with Atlanta explosiveness at home.. My play tonight is the OVER. We all know the Falcons could put up points, just like we know how hard it is for them to keep their opponents from scoring. I think TBs running attack has big day tonight.. but as previously stated.. i don't trust McCown to do enough to keep up. The OVER is my play tonight with some action on Atlanta -6 and a teaser with the OVER/ATL. goodluck everyone.!

After re watching TB's game against the Panthers and Rams one thing about this ball club that sticks out to me is their impressive offensive line play. Against arguably the top 2 front 7's in the league this Bucs o-line was able to consistently make TB's ground game effective. Josh McCown has not performed the way TB thought he would by throwing 3 lousy interceptions under pressure, but given time McCown is more than capable of managing a game effectively as we saw in Chicago last year and fortunately for McCown he faces the worst pass rush in the league tonight. Atlanta's inability to pressure the QB will continue to hinder them all season long and i believe they fail to do so again tonight. Looking for TB to slow this game down and eating most of the clock up by utilizing their run game against a weak ATL front 4.
-7 is a large number to cover for a team who can't pressure the qb, has arguably the worst pass defense in the league and against a division rival. Plenty of value on Tampa Bay tonight.

You guys are being overly paranoid. I don't think ATL -7 is set up to be a trap, nor am I suggesting it is the right play. I think the spread is correct and the difference will be a field goal or some mistake towards the end by either team.

 at TampaBay... its boy amongst men out there... and just about everyone in here rocked with them.... i hope they could really step it up.. atleast for the sake of watching an entertaining game..
