i hit a 5 & 6 -- all the later games had me shook! blazers were down big in the first half & the rockets game was wayyyyy too close for my liking.

If that line stays at 4 throughout most of the day, I would run the other way. The general public will all be betting on Syracuse. If it sticks at 4 I wouldn't touch it. If it goes to 3.5, you better put money on Maryland. 

-4.5 now. Still think it should be a double digit win for the orange.

Parlayed it with the warriors, mavs, and clippers to all cover as well.

It hit -4.5 at a lot of books but did not stay there at the majority of them. It came back to 4 and has even gone down to 3.5 and back up at lot of them. With over 80% of the bets coming in on Syracuse, we know who the big money bets are being placed on. 

Simply a horrible spot for Syracuse. Very little rest, coming of a huge game, with another huge game on deck. Meanwhile Maryland has had a week to prepare for THIS GAME (been off since Tuesday). They haven't been playing badly either. A 2 point loss @ Duke and an 8 point loss @ Virginia in their last two games. Not bad at all, and they are 5-1 on their home floor in conference play. Meanwhile, Syracuse had ONE big road win this year........ ONE. That was the win against Pitt and everybody knows they had no business winning that game. 

I'm gonna wait to closer to game time and take Maryland plus the points.  Hopefully this line gets up to 4.5 and 5 when all the late bets come in

i've had friends trying to convince me all week to get tickets to this game so i know UMD has been salivating waiting for this matchup. that being said, i went all in on syracuse along with my $10 nba parlay, because i just can't see syracuse not coming out fired up and ready to destroy them.

also, the terps are 0-5 against ranked teams this season. i don't see this game being that close.

if the line had opened up syracause -10 or something, would you still have been betting on umd? i feel like people are overanalyzing this. then again....i might end up feeling really stupid tonight

You know how it is in sportsbetting:

If Syracuse blows out Maryland, Cuse backers be like, "that -4 was a golden gift" while Maryland backers will say, "Heck Cuse is a top-5 team so that was not unexpected"

Then if Maryland upsets Cuse, Terp backers will gloat to the world that they knew about it all along and that they're as sharp as anyone.

That said, while an upset is not impossible, i think Cuse is still clearly the better team.

This game reminds me of the Arizona@Colorado game two days ago. Same line at -4. Arizona struggling lately, Colorado surging.

Everyone was on Colorado. And they get blown out, destroyed really.

Not saying this Cuse-Maryland game plays out the same, but i wouldn't be surprised.

Yea, I'm going against my better judgement taking the warriors, but they've been good to me the last couple of times I've bet on them.

I'm with you. I'd stay away from Cuse here. Terps are solid at home, Cuse just played, Terps are well rested and fans will be hyped for this one. Probably not gonna bet this game, going in on Cuse scares me.

First time watching Syracuse play and they're a terrible team. Worst offense I've ever seen. Everyone just standing around stagnant and throwing up forced shots.

With tonight 14 of the last 16 Cuse games have gone UNDER. one of the overs was the crazy Duke game but I think that was wel over anyway.
