I'm thinking ISU ... however, I'll never forget that I got burned so hard on this game last year

ISU completely dropped it at the end

^^joe public bloodbath??

Or is that sharp money...cool...drop that ML wood.

I don't think the public hammers lines so early in the week. They usually do it the day of the game or the day before. What you'll usually see is sharps throw some money down to get the line moving down to spot they like and then unload on that line. So, in this case, the line started at 6.5. The sharps want the Broncos, but not at that line so they throw down a lot of money on the Patriots so the books have to adjust the line in the favor of the Broncos. Once they've done enough of that to get the line down to say..3 or 3.5 then they unload even more money on Denver. Much more than what they placed on the Patriots in order to get the line to move.

The line should keep falling the closer we get to Sunday. In fact, I'm doing the same. I have N.E. at 6, but if it gets down to 3, then I'm going all in on the Broncos.

True. But u know the public. They only remember the last thing they saw, which was blount blouting and den struggling to put away sd.

Im all over den ML when it settles in.

I agree. I'm not sure what the bookmakers are doing though. They could have just as easily gotten Patriots money at a 3.5 or 4 initial line...I don't know. The line moving so quickly makes me think they overvalued the publics perception of Denver.

We'll see, but if this line gets down to 3 then I'm doubling down with the Broncos and hopefully I get the middle of the two lines, but so long as Denver covers I win money.

Long time lurker but barely post....

There's times where the BOOKS get SLAUGHTERED... 49ers vs. Panthers is a prime example. 80% action at my local book was on the 49ers. Everyone I asked wheter they were sharp or square had the Niners that game. I took Niners -12.5 ingame aftert that interception in the 4th.

THE BOOKS GOT SLAPPED. PERIOD.

I live in Vegas BTW and everyone out here knows how to bet. :lol

^^very true...but for every one of those...............

Theres double or triple the amount of public massacre.

I still remember the replacement refs giving golden tate a td, thus effecting the line.

Jim Harbaugh last yr declining a safety, thus effecting the number.

Both sitautions caused milllions to switch hands.

Theres a reason these buildings keep popping up.
