I'm a noob but i've always wondered the difference. Wouldn't the Hawks have to win by 8 regardless if it's -7.5 or -7? B/c isn't a tie = loss?

he prefers it to be -7 because he can possibly tie it. like a 21-14 scenario, he doesnt win but he doesnt lose either.

if they win by exactly 7 it's a push, which cancels the wager and refunds it.

½ points eliminate that, so hawks winning by 8 or greater.

I still think hawks ML is the play, but century link is a tough place for the saints to win, let alone in the play offs.

Avalanche - Islanders seems like a game to stay off IMO.

The Islanders trending up lately, beating Boston on the road too, although avalanche did beat the sharks at home so maybe they are the play..

I'm playing it (relatively) safe with the Penguins and looking to improve to 6-0 against the Oilers
