Cowboys/Bears pick 'em. My heart says Cowboys, but my mind says wait a second...

if cowboys commit some to the running game, i like cowboys to win. demarco has been getting it done & a balance cowboys offense is money. Bears rush-def is struggling.
However, cowboys def is pisspoor thru the air and having to worry about both marshall and jeffery WILL be a problem.

damn...this IS hard to pick.

My streak is wearing thin at this point...Can't cash out until Christmas Eve though.

Since a few weeks ago, I am up 301 units. Mostly about picking my spots on where to bet heavy.

overall a bad week for me . started out hot , but ended up going down 10 units . im starting to learn where to pick my spots . im significantly better at betting NFL than any other sport . couple things i learned from LW :

bet value rather than gut feeling . hit on the seahawks +3 not because i felt like they'd cover , but because of the value there (getting +3 on the road assumes the teams are even , when Seattle is really the better team)
tread lightly on big parlays and teasers . hitting a big teaser two weeks ago was bad for me ; feels like i went 0 for 10 this past week with parlays and teasers with all of them being 4+ teams . next couple of weeks im going to mess around in the 2-4 team range

nice little nugget i heard yesterday -- the Broncos have covered the total game over in every game so far this season

Sorry, Fraij. I'm more a casual college bettor these days, so that was just on a whim.

DSA: That's how I started, but after you keeping winning from parlays then you feel like it's house money, so my balls grew. If I lost last night I sitll would have been up 120 units, so I never really thought twice.


I got lucky hitting that though, or else I would've been 0 for. I still haven't decided on tonight, but I'll probably end up going Dallas just for fun.

I don't wanna go every week because I don't want Western Union to shut me down after so many consectuive w/d's. Not sure how that all works as far as flagging someone.

A wire worries me too, but I can get a bulk of my funds at a time.

I never found a clear answer to this on the internet but At the amount of funds you are moving you might want to consult a CPA or a lawyer. Probably could get a free consultation. If you're concerned. A big deposit could trigger an audit.

think WU you can receive 12k within a year w/o them getting involved.....but obviously you gotta stretch it out 

think I've received 8-10k WU this year.....checks maybe 7-9k ....

I split my check deposits with two different banks........my western union money ended up getting spent on misc things cause I let my direct deposits from work just sit in my acct and I lived off that while it lasted (WU withdrawals)

it's just funny how stressing it kinda gets when you're up a lot online......when I only rolled through a local back in the day it wasn't that stressful 

 

but you should be able to easily get 4-7k a month out w/o getting caught up if you bounce b/t western union and check every other week

that's always the issue.....I only got out 60% of what I made in my oct/nov run before I lost the rest 

 ......just wish this **** was legal so I could've got it all out at once and took a tax hit

next run I go on I think ima just let it sit and start betting on bookmaker until I get it all out of my 5dimes acct

Anyway...For tonight I'm still uncertain, but the line movement has been interesting. It's gone from a pick 'em to Chicago -1.5 and the total from 47.5 to 49.5. From that, it appears like public is on the Bears and the over.

I like the Cowboys too, but I'm actually thinking over as well. These two D's are the worst at stopping the run and they give up big passing numbers too. Needless to say, the chains should be moving a lot tonight. Sustained drives usually result in points. The fact that Vegas is still pushing the line up makes me think they want to see more action on the under. Cold weather thinking usually has public betting on lower scores. Yesterday should have proved that angle is a myth.

From a football standpoint I can see so many players having big games. From Murray to Dez to Forte and the duo of Marshall and Alshon. Possibly a "who has the ball last" kind of game.
