***$$$-NT Sportsbook Thread vol.2- Props props props props props props... EVERYBODY!

That took 15 years off my life, just curious though if that ended in a tie I lost right? Got it at pick em.....prob a stupid question just never been in that position before......congrats again Paul

ridiculous day for me with betting . hit on a lot of "iffy" bets

Tampa + 9
Chargers + 5
Rams - 1.5
Titans - 1.5
Steelers ML
Pats + 2.5
Vikings + 5.5
Cowboys + 2.5
Cardinals - 3

missed on Jets + 3.5 and Cowboys vs Giants over 46.5 total points

Next challenge is to get this **** in my bank account. Quick!

Probably save a little somethin' for Thanksgiving to give me something to do, but I'm cashing most this baby out. Thank goodness for that comeback by the Pats.

Split b/t checks and western union and you'll get it out...that's what I've been doing the past month

that $80 check fee is a *****

ive never used western union before -- how easy is it to receive the funds ?

Yo there's an error on 5dimes
Where the line is -4.5 on the bulls vs jazz (worst team in nba)
Then u can change it to +5 where the odds are +109
So I bet that, let's see if they honor it

I'm seeing +3.5 at +109

Either way I'll take it. Thanks for the heads up.

I used that method on my last few w/d's and it's a swift process. This was with sportsbook, but the turnaround time was only two days. I was amazed. The only problem for me was that that method isn't for big withdrawals. Most places limit cash they give to customers so I would do $1,000 every few days.

You contact the bookie or bookmaker and use WU as your payout method. Once it is processed they will send you the information. Usually first and last name of sender, transaction code/number and amount. When you go to a Western Union station, you give them that exact information, usually by filling out a form that requires the info. Hand it to the teller and they process the payment and give you the money. Quick and relatively easy. They don't ask questions either, which was something I was always nervous about.

Small 1.5 unit on tonight. Skins +4.5 even though most indicators point SF.

Looking ahead to Thanksgiving...

I like Oakland +9.5, Green Bay +5, Baltimore -2.5 as of right now.

not bad . why were you worried about them asking questions though ?

I don't know.

If they asked who this was coming from I didn't know what would happen if I said sports betting. Doubt they'd care, but who knows? Washington State isn't kind to gamblers either.

Riding with u Paul :pimp:

...on thanksgiving that is.
I love my niners but I'm not touching tonight.

WU is easy.....I've read people getting blocked by WU......but I think they were doing od western unions in a short amount of time for a large sum of money

most of my WU are b/t 600-1300......and I won't do more than a week just to be on the safe side

great advice fellas , thanks

rocking with the following tonight . 1st quarter spreads have been good to me so far :

Spurs - 3.5 for 1st quarter
Blazers -2 for 1st quarter
Rockets -0.5 for 1st quarter
Niners - 5 for the game

First time in here, made sure I was in the right thread, if there was any on betting before i made a thread just for a few questions. total noob here but

what does the "Line" and explanations on the whole "Over/Under" thing? like tonight's MNF it says on ESPN Line: SF -6.0 Over/Under: 46.0 for the San Fran vs Washington game

thanks in advance, was always curious about these. I remember visiting England where they had a crazy betting system, which was all legal, still don't know about legality issues for us though

So SF -6
means they are favorite to win the game. However, for YOU to win the bet with SF -6. the final score has to show the niners winning by 6 or more.
example:
If final score is 28-21, you win your bet. Since 28-21=7.
if final score is 27-21, you push your bet. Since 27-21=6.
If final score is 24-21, you lose your bet. Since 24-21= 3. This would be SF only covered 3 points of the final score when they needed to cover 6.

As for Over/Under 46.
It comes down to whether you think the final score will be over or under 46.
This just means the final score has to add up to the number by both teams.
So if the niners scored 28 and DC scores 21, that would be 28+21= 49 points. Making this number OVER the original 46. So if you had bet OVER 46, you win the bet and you'd lose if you bet UNDER 46.

...this is probably a terrible explanation, but i hope this makes some sense?

nah it was perfect thanks. so with what you told me I can make 2 separate bets on the over/under and Line? Like I can put money on for a Raider game only for Line and ignore the over/under completely? and with this system you told me is it fair to say that this system goes for only NFL or football games or do every other "american sports with points as a deciding factor" have their own system? I can easily see this for NBA but is it altered for NHL or golf? I can't even picture tennis

and boxing betting?
