I'm pretty sure the Yanks will have CC fill in just in case Nova struggles. I personally feel like it'll be a low scoring game or very lopsided on one side with the under being the play.Originally Posted by SamB
Everybody is on the Yankees so I'm on the Tigers for 10 units ($500). Ml is +146 so I'll wait till gametime when it'll be around +160. What do you all see in NYY? I mean I understand that offense is filthy but so is the Tigers and the pitching is equal (Nova is a rookie who is due to get nailed). People on here like to say Fister got shelled in gm1 but he actually had a good stat line excluding the ER (3 ER even tho he didn't give that grand slam to cano), 6 SO in 4 innings and alot of groundouts. Give him a fresh start and he will be good. My main factor liking DET is the amount of runs the NYY offense put up gm 4they usually don't like to score the next game & more motivation for the Tigers.

i have been staying away too, but then my buddy walked into my office and was like "hey man, theres no way Zona wins 3 in a row, lets just bet MIL and double our bets for the next game it they lose. Eventually MIL is gonna close em out"Originally Posted by 651akathePaul

Straight up. Being that it will most likely be a low scoring game I'm not willing to risk it. Go Yanks!Originally Posted by CE0 Mal
Anyone else going big on the yankees tomorrow night? I'm going 7 units.

I respect that and I understand Fister is not a Curt Schilling caliber player but I've watched a good amount of Mariner games when he pitched and this dude is underrated. He has a #$$ record because he got no run support whenever he started which was hilarious to me. Also, do you really think the Detroit bats are going to stay quite because they've only scored 5 runs in both wins and I see them go wild tonight...Originally Posted by Proshares
Overrated down the stretch after he got to Detroit I meant. I'm not saying he's not a good pitcher, because I think he is (was) very underrated in Seattle. That's where he lacked run support IMO. But if you let other folks tell you, they'll make him seem like he's Curt Schilling to Justin Verlander's Randy Johnson since he came over. In the two months since he came over, he pitched against an injury depleted Cleveland team four times, KC twice, Oakland, Minnesota, Baltimore (before they became AL East killers), Texas at home and TB in the worst hitting park in the majors. A different beast pitching against an AL East team in a hitting park than pitching in arguably the weakest division in baseball.
I'm not saying I can't be wrong about tonight but to use the facts that were used is too far out there IMO.
