I miss running. I have runners knee in both of my kness, it happened after I ran a half marathon.

Vomeros areI'm all about the Vomeros for training. They're built like goddamned tanks, but their cushioning is unreal.
And the OG Lunarracer is the goat racing flat. God do I miss Lunarlite.
I'm guessing any Nike running shoes you like but in their Shield version?
Any tips for breathing in colder weather? I find it harder to breathe and end up pushing myself so I end up getting tired quicker
Im going to take it easy on the next couple runs to get adjusted. ThanksAny tips for breathing in colder weather? I find it harder to breathe and end up pushing myself so I end up getting tired quicker
For mde, ab/core work becomes more of a focus with cold weather along with how I eat. The better shape my abs/core are in the easier it is for me to control my breaths, & well nutrition is just important period to fuel your body properly. When I give people tips about running I ALWAYS preach about controlling your breaths through your stride first & foremost, those are my 2 biggest factors that I find have a direct impact. Slow down on some of your runs if you need to just so you can control your breaths that much more as your lungs get adjusted to the cold, then pick it back up after a couple of runs.
I'm not an expert/professional runner or anything but I like to act like I am & pass along my tips lol. I hope that helps
The more you run in cold weather the easier the breathing becomes.Im going to take it easy on the next couple runs to get adjusted. Thanks
I have a love/hate relationship with running
I seem to run better during the night, anyone else feel that way?
I read a story a few years back in Runners World that touched on this. I think they said almost everyone feels faster at night/early morning basically because the darkness makes gauging distance more difficult, so your usual cues for distance and pace are out of sync. I could be making this up, but I am pretty sure that was the gist of it.

I usually don't buy the running jacket for warmth, I buy it to stop the wind and rain. Plus, I usually over heat in a hoddie, then I'm sweating like a mother and the sweat starts freezing. Jacket + Half-zip or long tee is the way to go.Man most running jackets suck really. They're made like plastic rain coats and don't do anything. I'd stick with the hoodies.
Under Armor, thermal, hoodie = you're good to go
