i worked at a mom and pop shoe store.

like my first week, i started asking customers

"are you looking for anything specific", so they could say "no" and my korean bosses wouldnt expect me to follow them around trynna sell them *@!% and they think im following them to stop theft...

well, i had a coworker....young, uneducated, teenage mother...

i guess she thought my pitch was a win, cause she TRIED to steal it

except, she would say

"are you looking for anything pacific?"

and i promise she never not said pacific....she never even acknowledged the s.......not like she had a lisp and struggled to say it, or anything

"are you looking for anything pacific?"

i used to LOL

she'd ask what was funny

customers never corrected her.

I notice people on facebook using "love ones" or "I feel bless today" instead of "loved ones" and "I feel blessed today"

Also, I remember eating at a restaurant with my friend and he ordered a B.L.T. sandwich but pronounced it "blt" like it was an actual word not an acronym.
