NT fam wassup! I need some knowledge on how this works. Now my brother has a trucking business where he drives commercial trucks and delivers goods to different stores. Now I'm not too sure of the requirements but I was thinking of purchasing sneakers in bulk. Something similar to the mom and pop stores. Now my questions are as follows, what do you need to purchase sneakers in bulk? A business address or an actual store? And if it's a business address where does one go to inquire about bulk purchases? Any information would help tremendously.

From my understanding you need to having a purchase license and it can't be more than a certain amount miles to the nearest "bulk buyer"

Does this purchase license have to be specific to sneakers or is it something that's generalized and could obtained through produce purchases and things of that nature?

Fam, out of all the things you can resell...you choose sneakers? The rate of return isn't too high on those depending in what the price is that you copping

But to answer your question, you need a business license, address. If you have an actual store, you need insurance, proof of revenue, all that extra stuff

It's not as easy as it seems. Sneaker stores aren't that lucrative. The market is flooded with them. Especially in this technological age. Mom and Pop sneaker stores might not even break even until maybe their 10th year. The only reason they may succeed is because it's a family business, and the shop is already owned by that family.

When you talking bout starting fresh and buying/leasing a new property as business space...you in a whole other boat, pa

I believe it's a general manufactured goods license if I'm not mistaken

Thanks for the knowledge. I'm not looking into a store exactly though. More of a out of my house kind of thing. Like you said, we are in a technological age where you really don't need a store. I'm in the NYC area so I know there is a demand for sneakers. Now my idea rests on being able to provide a sneaker, a little above retail of course because I have to live, but definitely lower than the majority of resellers. It sounds like something I would want. And on top of that it's delivered same day. I'm not looking to establish a business out of this. Just a hustle. We all need one outside of our official work place. I feel like it keeps me going.
