ive countered many trojans and viruses over the years with safe mode cleaning and other means.

it's loaded up my laptop with programs i never heard of and redirects me to new pages and uses weird search engines. makes my laptop heat up too for somereason.

Not attacking you OP, but even with the countless threads on here the past few weeks, you still didn't take precautions?

There's free software out there that takes 10 minutes to download which could prevent these problems.

The same thread keeps popping up.

Get Firefox with Adblock and Noscript and get Avast. Takes like 3 minutes and you dont have to worry about it after you set it up.

i have all those programs but im not trusting jack this is the last time imma be on nt for a month, its ridiculous even /b/ doesn't have stuff like this.

I had it too...I spent like 2 days cleaning my laptop up!

DL rkill+Malwarebytes......run them in that order


rkill stops the virus from working and Malwarebytes erases it....YOU HAVE TO RUN rkill IN ORDER TO RUN Malwarebytes....The virus wont let Malwarebytes run ifits still active...


After that...DL Firefox and get ad blocker as stated before....




Dont even try to run from an earlier Check-Point date from Safe mode....The Virus prevents that too...

no-script is a mozilla add-on. It blocks scripts from automatically running unless you give it the okay.
