Just to keep this thread going, i'm actually in the same situation.  Looking to purchase a vehicle(ironically) around 17k.  Something reliable, sporty, maybe an SUV/crossover? etc.  Already owned a 335, g37, C300, 350z.. So those are off my list.  I'm thinking about getting an FX, if I can find one with decent mileage, but it appears that the Accords are really the best deals in this price range.

Accord. I love accords. My car **** the bed on me and I'm driving my boys extra whip. It's an old *** 4 banger with a 5 speed. I love it. gas needle doesn't move. Been on a quarter tank for two days.
