Mixing an album right now. Dunno if I should post it in here when we're done or make a separate thread.

Also does anyone in here do cover art for free 99? [emoji]128517[/emoji]

Figured this was relevant for some of you; cross posted in the beatmaking thread as well.

Jewels from the brother Amir Mohamed el Khalifa:

From the song "Slow Groove" off his Alwasta EP:

"I'm really good at my job, that's because I understood it's a job/I'm not interested in coming to your studio or chilling after shows/I've got to do this all over tomorrow..."

Keep up the good work, everyone.

I enjoyed the beat and the video good work on that. However you saying you want feedback on the song I was waiting for someone to Rap and that did not happen until the end and was more of a raw freestyle footage then a song. Just a little misleading other then that good work.

Super novice here. I'm having some issues with EQ. When I play back a beat i made in logic...it sounds like perfectly fine on my computer but when i listen to it in the car the 808s are super distorted and hit way too hard.

What do I do?

What are you using to listen to it on the computer

Speakers or headphones and if headphones what type

People say that Audio Technicas M50s are good for mixing but I can't personally vouch for them

I use Beats Headphones, I need to switch because they won't give you an accurate idea of what the beat will sound like in different scenarios/sound devices

What's good. My name is David Stones and I'm a artist on the come up from Brooklyn, NY. I recently released my new project, "Less Talk - EP" which features the leas single "Nickels & Dimes". The video for "Nickels & Dimes" features Buckshot, Statik Selektah, Lil Fame (of MOP), Mister (from Money & Violence) and a few more. I'm posting this here today in hopes of receiving feedback from the Nike Talk community. I'm a post the video below and a link to download my EP for FREE. I'll be hanging around the forum for a while so if there's any questions I'll be glad to answer them so ask away! Salute to any and everybody who checks this thread out and takes the time to respond!

I'm playing it straight off the iMac.

Have yet to grab some studio quality headphones.
