NT, convince me "cutting the cord" is a good idea

Tried out ps vue, pretty cool. Signed up for the trial, if it's solid I'll keep it. But for kodi streaming you have to learn the links. Gvideo, streamin, most things in Phoenix etc. The others just pause for a bit, let it buffer. You can also modify your cache settings (no zero caching for Android devices). Just look up fire stick kodi cache. Latest fire tv utilities makes that easy as well. You're on your own with the research though.

You guys got me curious on the PS Vue now.. 8o

will wait on some more reviews from you guys.

now that the NFL network and Redzone are coming to PS Vue, The chances of me subscribing are very very high if its included in the packages (not standalone)

Who has PS Vue? Care to chime in? 8o

I'm waiting on them to announce if it will be a stand alone or in the packages myself but Vue is the goods IMO. Only issues I've had was buffering at times when changing channels or using DVR..on the PS forum there are threads on ppl having similiar issue so it may just be a utilization issue on their servers. But overall I'd recommend it.

Fire TV came in for my second tv. Waaay better than the sticks.

PS vue is dope. No issues with buffering too much. Pic quality is nice.

Though I have a PS4, we have been running vue through our smart TV Roku and all is good there too.

My Cable subscription doesn't change until the 19th, but I haven't felt a need to switch to the cable box yet.

I want to see if Playstation Vue can be streamed via Apple TV before subscribing.

I'm fine in the living room with the PS4, but would like to use my Apple TV on the 2nd tv instead of purchasing Fire TV or Roku.

100up/100down? :eek :smokin

yeah man verizon fios has a deal for the summer. not sure if its in your area but if it is get it!!!

Oh and another thing about the firestick not sure if this is common but some shows are uploaded before they even air. Power and Ballers were both uploaded early sunday the last 3 weeks. So I get on twitter and troll people with spoilers. Im horrible I know lol.

Firestick is trash and youll see once you use the other ones like firetv etc etc

Can the firetv be jailbroken and what's the big difference between that and the stick? The stick works perfect for me and is compact which let's me bring it everywhere I want

I convince my coworker to join the fire gang and told him to get the firetv. He said yeah and went and got the stick. He said the stick works fine and he wanted to get one more for another room but ended up getting the firetv. He said he wishes he never got the stick. So I never had the stick but he just says its a lot faster. And feels a difference. Up to you. If you're use to the stick, stick with it. If get the fire tv you'll probably notice the difference.

Cut the cord a couple months back and need sports. What do you guys think of nba league pass and NFL Sunday Ticket. What are the pros and cons Thanks

League Pass is way overprice now for what you get
what exactly do you get with NBA league pass never had it and this going to be my first season with it. I know you can watch most of your favorite teams games. Any alternatives to league pass??

I live in the United Kingdom and pay about $190 for NBA League Pass though Apple TV. With that I get access to every single game live and on demand. Plus access to NBA TV (again live and on demand).

I think if you live in the USA you don't get every game due to rights restrictions. A bit like in the UK there's no one package you can buy to watch every Premier League soccer game - different broadcasters own the rights to different games.

Thanks alot for the responses guys. Does NFL Sunday Ticket have on demand games or just live?. I got MLB premium for the remainder of the season and that's one of the features I like

good looks. I'll wait for the announcement when they make it official

I dont see what is so great with Ps Vue. Cord cutters are making decisions more based on choice than cost effective. Most of the recent methods and services arent saving much money at all, just offering alternatives.

have apple tv right now one of the first generations

can someone give me a quick simple recommendation for a second tv?

firestick or new apple tv? and a good model please

Moved into my new apt in February. Never got internet because I was doing everything on my own trying to figure it out.

Been using my Iphone 6s Tmobile Hotspot to power up the PS4 / netflix/ hbo go app/ league pass, all that. But now with football coming up im really contemplating getting either cable  + Internet .

I mainly only want it for sports - MLB Playoffs / NBA games / NFL GAMES.

Whats my best alternative?

I have League Pass already thru my brothers account.

Do i REALLY need the cable? or are their alternatives with just getting Internet and I can watch the games on the TV through an outside source?

just realized i rarely watch any cable programming anymore. aside from live sports, i dont watch any espn "programming" that they offer :x
does anybody really watch espn for their sports coverage outside of gms when all the leagues have their own network? their nba/mlb/nfl coverage is terrible

just curious, is nfl network free during the off season? i've noticed i got that channel for the last couple months
