I'd rather not get into the specifics of my personal life, but thus far my "adult life" has been very non-traditional, as far as going to college --> graduating in four/five years --> settling into an occupation --> eventually carving out a career.
I've only recently committed myself to a structured life, in other words I've kissed my dreams goodbye for a better chance of attaining and living that middle-class life. A wife, two kids, a dog, a white picket fenced house in suburbia--honestly, there's no shame in this; no shame in wanting safety.
Anyway, if everything goes as planned, I'd begin my career in my early 30s, 10 years after the normal "start" date. I'm in my mid 20s now. So by early 30s would it be too late to start adult living or can I still attain that decent middle class life?
Keep in mind that I would ideally like to begin my career in my mid 30s and officially be settled down in my mid to late 30s.
