All preferences aside, because it is your right to have preferences...but what SEEMS healthy and what IS healthy is often incongruent. So you are only speculating based off an image, and what your preference is in relation to that image. The same can be said about me saying she is healthy. Let me just simplify this, I really like her body/style/shape as is, the good thing about that body type is that extra weight only enhances not detracts.Originally Posted by West2East
I know really skinny girls. They have eating disorders/body image issues whether they admit to them or not. The ones who are really skinny and don't suffer from eating disorders are usually young. You just don't usually see women with that kind of body in their 20's unless there are underlying issues.Originally Posted by Hazeleyed Honey
I know some really thin girls who get ragged on for being skinny, but that is just how they are naturally. Yes, she would look healthier with an extra 10 lbs. However, I think that as long as a person is healthy, has all their nutrients, not lacking any vitamins, no defiencies, then that is most important. Her body is not perfect to me either. I think there is no perfect body, but their are certain ideal body types we all appreciate due to our different preferences.
It is just so hilarious to see on NT and the extreme reactions when female bodies get posted. At the end of the day, we all have our preferences and no need to convince the others of what the "perfect" female body is, when in fact that does not exist but only in our own eyes.
To me she just doesn't look healthy at all and I could never see myself being jealous of or wanting to look anything like that. Plus I know that if it's not one thing it's another because like you said nobody is perfect.
That's my thing also. It's not just that to me it looks bad but it just doesn't seem healthy whatsoever.Originally Posted by ATLien Seeko
Yeah, but were talking strictly body type. Not skin disorders, habbits, personalities or nun of that. Look at her body type and tell me it's not very similar to the girl in the first post. Now, with that observation, would it not be safe to make at least a slight assumption that she either has an eating problem or drug problem? Either way, I cant see myself being comfortable with someone who strives to maintain a body like that. It screams "disorder" imo
But with that said I am not exclusive to her body type. I appreciate "thickness" as well, a medium build, and even the cute big girls have caught my eye. I really enjoyed that big girl thread that was going on a few weeks ago because it showed some pretty nice examples of bigger framed women.
