There's alot of things I could say about that game, but $$%@ it, we got that W. I will say tho...Clausen made a few mistakes but he's gonna be good the next couple years with those recievers.
Dang lots of fine women at UNC.
That's for damn sure

Not trying to stir up anything, but real talk I wasn't impressed by UNC at all. They are very average. I thought ND outplayed UNC in pretty much every category. Not saying ND is anything more than average, but they should have definitely won this game.
I hear stuff like this from everybody we play...but we keep winning. We definitely aren't that good, but "average" for us is a whole lot better that being !*@+%*% horrible like years past.

JND- I am pretty sure you are a senior also... But damn going through the Bunting years and now having Butch MF Davis at the helm is a complete180. Tonight was the absolute loudest I have ever heard Keenan and on top of that it was the first time I have ever seen the whole student section and majorityof the stadum stay for the alma mater. That was the coolest thing ever.

We played like garbage in the first half, but we stepped up big time to make the comeback win. Our offense wasn't impressive at all tonight, granite BTatewent down in like the first quarter. I love how this team fights until the end of the game regardless the score. Clausen is one hell of a player, but our boysstayed up and once again made big plays at crucial moments of the game. Shaun Draughn is the man and needs to get like 15 touches a game. The past 3 games hehas broken a big run off only to have two of them called back, but that shows you that he is a threat and the talent is there.

I can't believe I didn't see this game thread when it was first started

...

Anyways, yesterday was freaking awesome. We have UVA next week who has suprisingly balled out the past two weeks, but I think we can end the drought and win inCharlotesville.

Go Heels....

#18 in the AP and #21 in the Coaches Poll.

SMH at the thought of Clausen costing us this one

On Saturday I was pissed off...at the last call (how is it deciphered who gets the fumble if called down?), but anyway...the over turned catch was BS...so Ican't be upset, at all. I do feel if we had that one play, Clausen woulda made the throw. I trust that kid right now in his sophomore year the same way Itrusted Brady his senior year. He just seems to have such control and understanding of the offense.

It does suck to outplay a team and lose. We were/are better than UNC. But they are oppurtunistic and won the game that way. Congrats to UNC fans, yall do havea program rising quickly.

With W's and L's not being TOO important this season, I can more than live this game. We improved again.

We have an absolute winner and big time player in Clausen. As a true sophomore to be playing like this and having control of the O like he does is incredibleand promising for the future. We're gona start picking teams apart soon with him at the helm. Yes, he made mistakes. But games like this are necesary forhim to move forward and improve. He can flat out make some throws, and I'm startin to see more zip on the ball. He throws such a nice deep ball and willwillingly take what the D gives him underneath. He was humbled last year...and I don't know how anyone could dislike him this year. He is a gamer and neverpoints fingers.

Mike Floyd- Special. Extremely special.

Tate is a playmaker..outside of Dez who goes up and ges the ball better than him?
....those two on the outside have to be the best young WR tandem in the country. NOBODY will be able to check them for the next 2 years. (if Tate is around forhis sr year)....on that note, someobdy tell me if so, but I'd doubt there's a better frosh TE than Rudolph in the country....add that to an improvingand soon to be very experienced O line and a rapidly improving Armando Allen and Cierre Wood arriving next season....the skill positions and Offense arepotentially loaded. And very well can end up being better than the Quinn lead teams. It was nice to see Kamara bounce back and have a nice game.

Funny how things can change after week 1 like they have. I've been pleasently surprised and Weis and Haywood are doing a solid job. Credit has to go toPowlus too. I see a change in Weis, he appears to be a little more relaxed and enjoying himself. That carries over to the players. Like Clausen, he was humbledlast year, and now is a much more likeable guy.

Special teams...solid coverage...and I won't talk about Walker. Yes, he made one...but if you can't go for a field goal unless you're inside the20....it only leads to problem and you're playing at a disadvantge from the jump. And can we get ONE touchback? Burkhart is good for nothing. The returngame...just doesn't look good. No seams.

Defensively....bend but don't break, again. UNC had 14 off turnovers, so again looking at the scoreboard the D did ok. Hopefully we start gettin morepressure at somepoint. Raeshon McNeil absolutely was picked apart. Quiet games from Bruton and McCarthy.

Overall, as it has been all year...I'll take the D's performance.

We played well enough to win. Outplayed UNC, just too many mistakes. But it's a young team on the road and this group appears to keep getting better. Andwith Clausen the future seems very brigh.

Can't wait to go out and put in on Ty. Run up the score, if possible. That is a must win, and the follow up is a must win vs Pitt. They both certainly arewinnable.

I don't buy into not being able to beat BC either. It's too bad we dropped this one, or else things coulda been real interesting.

Anyway the goal should be 8 wins and a bowl game win...and it's very possible.
