Kevin Love potentially leaving, LMA potentially leaving, This D Wade drama that while it will amount to nothing will bring about a swirl of rumors. I'll be entertained
Oh ok.

I thought you knew of some potential Spurs trickery.

We're players for both of those guys, LMA especially. I will gladly take him if he wants to come there.

i read it. it was a great article.

and I agree @instagram, its crazy wild to think how big dude has been for so long. Bron is 2 yrs older than me, so we basically grew up together. I remember the hype train when he was in hs. i remember seeing him in person and on espn...dude was a Beatle.

Bron been a star since 16, had the most hype of any prep athlete and exceeded it at the pro level, it's amazing honestly.

Dude is truly one of a kind.

Great article. So interesting to hear more than just his St. Vincent St. Mary run. Crazy how he really lived up to the hype.

Vividly remember moms and pops taking me to watch SVSM vs Mater Dei at UCLA.

Had no idea the grasp of who I was watching. It was just all this hype about that dude and of course I didn't understand why as I was just a yout at the time. He was dominating though.

Dope read

I remember watching his high school games on ESPN. I remember thinking he was going to be an overrated pro. There was no way of knowing then he was going to be a thorn in my backside.

I used to go around, trying to sound like I knew what I was talking about telling people "He's all hype he's going to be a bust! He has no jumpshot!"

^^^ I didn't say LeBron would be a bust or anything, but I definitely remember telling people I would have taken Melo over him as the number 1 pick. Got caught in Syracuse's title run that year, I guess. My bad.

I said the exact same thing.
Melo was just too too too good in that Chip run.
The guy took over every game, every game.
He's the best College "performer" that I had and still have ever seen. (Basketball)

I remember waiting for that first ESPN game after reading about him in all the hoop mags like SLAM.

I forget what team they played, I think it was Westchester with Trevor Ariza (which teams were STACKED and worshipped by us in the neighborhood).  And this dude LeBron DOMINATED and made it look easy as **** too.  I think seeing him do that as basically a one man team vs a great local team put things into perspective real quick.

I was amazed how a dude a couple of years older than me could have that court vision, fluidity, ball-handling and "ups", while already having an NBA body.

I was convinced from that point forward the hype was real.  But even for me, he definitely exceeded the hype.

Dubs in 6. I just think the Cavs have to play perfect ball to win, can't trust the likes of Delly, Shumpert and JR to not make any mistakes
