NT medical people -- is this just a freak injury that's unrelated to the other stuff that he has going on? Or was this caused by the fact he was already playing hurt?

Kobe had the exact same injury in 2013, it's impossible to say but that leg was clearly compromised already and the lower extremities can only take so much wear and tear.

This is exactly why I still have no clue why I got flamed this offseason for referring to the Cavs as the big 2 and not the big 3.

Until Kyrie can demonstrate that he can stay healthy for an entire season, I will continue to write him off.  He is the Bob Sanders of basketball.
