. I harbor no ill will over it, it was a ridiculous bet to make in the first place, the bet was that the Lakers were going to beat the Spurs that year

You still gotta look at his long term health though not to mention him just being healthy enough to play the remainder of the series.

He balled out but they still lost and now his status for the entire series is in jeopardy.

Well then so be it. You can't coach with that kind of mindset and foresight. You have to coach for this game. 

If he doesn't get injured, this conversation doesn't even happen, even though he isn't fully healthy.

At the end of the day, if he's available to play, if all signs point to him being able to hoop, then he goes and hoops great, I mean...you can't blame blatt for that. You can't preserve Kyrie for fear, or for the sake of long term here. We don't know what the long term entails. Can't be sacrificing games against GSW for the sake of the fear that Kyrie may not be healthy as the series moves along.

If he's healthy, and wants to play. If he can play, then he has to play here.

Honestly, this is why I wasn't taking bets even though so many ppl wanted to take bets on this series. Feel like only way to make a bet is to get a mod involved, ie. Bets sns and mod bans whoever loses or bet reps and mod can take away reps

the only reason why i thought he was good so it was because he seemed like a good poster, and he's been here for a while. my sn is 10 years old, if i lost the bet i would definitely paid up so i wouldn't tarnish it and/or resort to making a new sn to save face.

is whoever trying to collect on the bet have a record of paying their lost bets? 

cause then it would seem like no one put up any money/credit (the only thing is your name on niketalk really) and whoever won would collect.

And now Lebby's in serious trouble, because just he has what it takes to transform ANY team into serious Finals contenders, but didn't have what it takes to seal the deal.

"Well, he did won 2 out if 5, which is different than 0-5."

I hear you, but those 2 came off of some SUPER impressive Heatles teams. Last night's team, this Cavs team is actually buns, despite what Cavs fans might say. And it took 44 from him to make it a game, but ultimately, he himself couldn't do it. That OT was huge. :\

Dude is still a walking rebuild for your team, but I hope you have a finisher.
